Window Cleaning for Round Rock Homes

Round Rock straddles the Balcones Escarpment about 15 miles north of Austin. East of I-35 the land is flat Blackland Prairie with black, fertile soil; to the west it turns into rocky Hill Country. That split shows up on the outside of Round Rock homes.

Glass in Round Rock takes a beating that most homeowners never notice until the light changes. Cedar pollen settles into a yellow film, dust drifts into the corners, and sprinkler overspray leaves chalky dots that dry hard in the Texas heat. After a storm, the panes pick up fine specks that make every room look a little gray. Clean Green Power Washing sends a crew that treats windows as their own job, not an afterthought tacked onto a house wash. We clean the outside glass, the inside glass when you ask for it, plus the frames, the sills and the screens, then finish each pane so it dries clear instead of smeared. Call (512) 662-8422 or send a few photos for a free quote, and we will set up a visit that fits your week.

What Our Window Cleaning Covers in Round Rock

Picture Windows and Large Fixed Panes

Big fixed windows show every flaw. A single streak across a six foot pane catches the light and pulls the eye, so these get extra attention during the finish. We work them in even, overlapping passes and check them from more than one angle before moving on, because a large pane that only looks clean from one spot in the room is not really done.

Interior Glass on Request

Inside panes gather a different kind of mess. Fingerprints near door handles, nose prints at dog height, cooking haze near the kitchen and a light coat of household dust all dim the view. When you add interior cleaning, we work room by room, clean the glass on the living side, and wipe the ledge beneath each window before moving on to the next one.

Inside Panes When You Want Them

Some homeowners only want the outside done, and that alone changes curb appeal. Others want the full inside and outside service, which gives the clearest possible view from the living room. If interior glass is part of the plan, we remove fingerprints, dust and everyday film from the room side and wipe each interior sill as we go.

Everyday Bedroom and Living Room Windows

Most homes are made up of ordinary single hung and double hung windows, and they matter just as much as the showpieces. We move around the house in order, cleaning each pane, wiping the frame and sill, and handling the screen on its own. Inside glass joins the list whenever you ask. Nothing gets skipped just because it faces a side yard.

5 Common Window Problems We Clean in Round Rock

Weather, landscaping and local plant life all leave their mark on windows. The five below are the ones our crews run into again and again, from the first cedar pollen of winter to the dry dust of late summer. On the east side of Round Rock, the black prairie soil splashes onto lower walls and gets tracked across drives and walkways; on the west side, thin soil over rock means fast runoff that carries grit across hard surfaces.

Dust and Grit Film

Dry months push fine dust onto every surface, and glass shows it first. The film builds slowly, so it is easy to miss until sunlight hits it at a low angle. We lift the grit with a proper wash solution rather than dragging it across the pane, which keeps the glass surface safe.

Speckles Left by Wind and Rain

Texas storms blow dirt, leaf bits and grit across the house. After the water dries, glass on the windward side shows dozens of tiny spots that catch the light. We wash those panes fully, including the frames above them, so fresh debris is not waiting to run down again.

Grimy Frames and Dirty Sills

Clean glass inside a filthy frame never looks finished. Frames and sills hold pollen, dead bugs and grit, and every rain rinses some of it onto the pane below. We detail frames and sills as a normal part of the job, so the window reads as clean from one edge to the other.

Webs, Bugs and Debris in the Corners

Patios, eaves and outdoor lighting give spiders easy places to settle, and window corners collect whatever they leave behind. Beyond looking messy, webs trap pollen and grime. We clear accessible corners and edges, then clean the glass and trim around them so nothing gray is left at the margins.

Clouded Screens

A screen packed with pollen and dust casts a gray veil over the view, even when the glass behind it is clean. Screens also shed that debris back onto the window. We clean accessible screens on their own, so the freshly cleaned glass stays that way and the view through the mesh opens up.

Why Round Rock Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Round Rock call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

A Local Shop Since 2018

Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On

Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

Free Quotes With a Clear Scope

The quote is free and it spells out what we will clean. If you want more than one service, we quote them together so it can all happen in one visit.

How Our Window Cleaning Process Works

Streak-free glass is mostly about technique and clean tools. This is the routine our crew follows at every house, whether it has twelve windows or fifty.

1. Look Before We Touch

Our crew starts by walking the house to understand the layout and the condition of each window. Sprinkler spray patterns, cedar pollen load, cobwebs near lights and panes that face hard afternoon sun all get noted. That quick survey shapes everything else that happens during the visit.

2. Lifting Dirt Off the Glass

We apply a gentle cleaning solution and work it across the glass with a clean applicator. The aim is to release everything clinging to the surface, from pollen haze to dried storm specks, without scratching the pane. Fresh, rinsed tools keep old grime from being carried onto the next window.

3. Clean Squeegee, Clean Edges

The loosened solution comes off in controlled strokes from top to bottom. Corners and edges get detailed with a dry cloth so there are no drips waiting to form lines. Glass finished this way looks nearly invisible, from inside and from the curb, even with low sun behind it.

4. Detailing the Whole Opening

Glass is only part of the window. Frames and sills are wiped down so pollen and grit cannot run back across the pane. Screens are cleaned in a separate area, never propped against the glass, and returned once they are clean so they do not dust up the window again.

5. Walk Around and Straight Talk

We finish with one more lap around the house. If some old mineral stains only lightened, we tell you plainly and explain why. You get a clear picture of what was removed, what improved, and roughly how often these particular windows will need attention going forward.

Window Cleaning Pricing in Round Rock

We do not work from a one size price list for windows, because no two houses in Round Rock have the same glass. Instead, you get a free quote based on what we actually see, either at a short walkthrough or from photos. The main factors are how many panes you have and how large they are, whether the house is one story or two, and whether interior glass is part of the job. Access counts too: shrubs in front of windows, steep slopes or glass over a stairwell all take more care. Buildup matters as well, since old mineral spots take longer than light dust. Need other exterior work? Window cleaning can be combined with a house wash or another service in the same trip. Ring us at (512) 662-8422 for your quote.

Booking more than one service? We also offer house washing in Round Rock, roof cleaning in Round Rock, driveway cleaning in Round Rock, gutter cleaning in Round Rock, deck cleaning in Round Rock and stone cleaning in Round Rock, and every service we cover is listed on our exterior cleaning services page.

Serving Round Rock From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

Round Rock is a city of 119,468 people, according to the 2020 census, spread across Williamson and Travis counties. It sits right on the Balcones Escarpment, the line between the flat, fertile Blackland Prairie east of I-35 and the hilly, karst-like Hill Country terrain to the west, where there is little topsoil over the rock.

Those two landscapes leave different marks on a house. Dark soil from the prairie side ends up on the bottom of siding and on concrete after every rain. On the Hill Country side, water moves fast and brings grit with it. In both places, shaded walls and roof planes grow algae during humid months.

Round Rock is about 7.5 miles from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in a straight line, and we serve neighborhoods on both sides of I-35.

We serve Round Rock along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

Window Cleaning in Round Rock: Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we clean accessible screens as part of the job. They are handled separately from the glass so the dust and pollen trapped in the mesh do not end up back on a freshly cleaned pane. Homeowners are often surprised at how much brighter a room looks once the screens are clear as well as the windows.
For glass that stays clear all year, two to four visits a year works well, with one of them timed after cedar pollen season. If sprinklers reach your windows, more frequent cleaning keeps mineral spots from hardening. Homeowners on a lighter plan often choose once or twice a year, which still keeps buildup from getting heavy between visits.
It should not. Streaks almost always come from leftover residue or uneven drying, and our process is built to prevent both. We use clean tools, a proper solution and a careful squeegee finish, then check panes from more than one angle. For windows in harsh direct sun, we adjust the timing and method so the solution does not dry too fast.
In most cases, yes. Soil splash and tracked dirt respond well to pre-treatment and a thorough rinse. We look at the stain on the walkthrough and tell you what to expect before we start.
Yes, and many homeowners like doing it that way. Washing the siding first and finishing the glass afterward means any spray from the house wash is cleaned off the windows before we leave. Let us know every service you are thinking about when you ask for a quote, and we will plan one visit that covers them all.
Not for exterior work, as long as our crew can reach the windows and any gates are unlocked. If you want interior glass cleaned, someone will need to be there to let us in. We confirm those details when we schedule the visit, so you know ahead of time whether you should plan on being home that day.
In most cases, yes. Spots that formed recently usually come off all the way. Deposits that have sat for a long time often lighten a great deal, although glass that has started to etch may keep a faint mark. We look at the spotting during the walkthrough and tell you what to expect before any cleaning starts.
