Clean Green Power Washing

Stone Cleaning in Round Rock, TX

Stone Cleaning in Round Rock, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

Stone Cleaning for Round Rock Homes

Round Rock straddles the Balcones Escarpment about 15 miles north of Austin. East of I-35 the land is flat Blackland Prairie with black, fertile soil; to the west it turns into rocky Hill Country. That split shows up on the outside of Round Rock homes.

If the stone around your house has gone dull, patchy or green at the edges, Clean Green Power Washing can bring back its natural color without roughing up the surface. Our company was founded in 2018 around eco-friendly exterior cleaning, and every stone visit in Round Rock begins the same way: a walkthrough to name the stone, judge the buildup and mark any soft or chipped spots. From there we choose gentle cleaners, keep runoff away from your beds and shrubs where we can, and use only as much pressure as that stone can take. Outdoor kitchens, entry landings, garden walls, stepping paths and pool decks are all part of the work. Reach us Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM, at (512) 662-8422 for a free quote on stone cleaning.

Where Natural Stone Needs Cleaning Most

Flagstone and Slate Terraces

Big flat terraces of flagstone or slate look great until pollen and dust settle into every ridge. Slate can also flake if it is hit with a narrow, high pressure tip. We treat the surface first, then clean with wide, gentle passes and overlap each one so no lines show once the terrace dries in the afternoon sun.

Pool Decks and Coping

Pool decks see splash water, sunscreen, chlorine and bare feet every day, which is why they turn slick faster than almost any other stone at the house. Travertine and limestone are common here, and both are calcium based, so we avoid harsh acids. Our cleaning targets the organic film that makes the deck slippery and the edges dark.

Grill Zones and Outdoor Kitchens

Cooking areas collect drips, smoke and food residue that ordinary rain never rinses away. On stone counters, bar tops and the pavers under a grill, we pretreat the heaviest spots, give the cleaner time to work, and wash around appliances and gas lines with care. The result is a space you will want to host friends in again.

Retaining Walls and Outdoor Kitchens

Vertical stone and countertop stone hold dirt in different ways. Walls trap pollen and runoff in their rough faces, while outdoor kitchen stone picks up grease, food spills and smoke. We soft wash walls so the mortar and face stay intact, and we take a gentler approach around cooking areas, fixtures and nearby plantings.

5 Common Stone Problems We Clean in Round Rock

Central Texas weather is hard on outdoor stone. Pollen, heat, sprinkler water and shade each leave their own mark, and together they can make a fairly new patio look worn. Here is what we clean off stone most often. On the east side of Round Rock, the black prairie soil splashes onto lower walls and gets tracked across drives and walkways; on the west side, thin soil over rock means fast runoff that carries grit across hard surfaces.

Green Edges on Steps and Walls

Where stone meets soil, moisture wicks up and green growth follows. Steps, wall bases and planter edges often show it first. Soft washing treats and lifts that growth at low pressure, which protects older mortar and keeps the stone face from getting scarred or pitted during the cleaning.

Uneven Weather Staining

Sun, rain and heat do not hit every part of a patio equally. Over time some areas bleach while others darken under drip lines and trees, so the stone looks older than it really is. Even cleaning across the whole surface pulls those tones back together into one color.

Stripes From an Earlier Pressure Wash

Some stone we see has already been cleaned once with a narrow, hard tip. That leaves light wand marks, fuzzy spots and uneven lines. Etched stone cannot be undone, but careful, even cleaning can blend the surrounding area so those marks draw far less attention than before.

Grease and Food Spills

Outdoor kitchens and dining areas pick up drips from grills, smokers and serving tables. Oils soak into porous stone and attract more dirt over time. We treat those spots before the main wash so they release along with the rest of the surface and the whole area looks consistent.

Slippery Pool Deck Corners

Water pools in low corners of a deck and near drains, and those spots stay wet longest. A slick film forms there first, and it can make walking risky. Cleaning removes the film and restores grip, and it also shows you which spots hold water after a swim or a storm.

Why Round Rock Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Round Rock call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

A Local Shop Since 2018

Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On

Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

How Our Stone Cleaning Process Works

Stone cleaning goes well when each step is done in order and none are skipped. Here is how a typical visit unfolds, from the first look at your stone to the final check.

1. Look First, Then Plan

Before any equipment comes off the truck, we study the stone up close. Material type, finish, age, shade exposure and the amount of growth all shape the plan. We also check the joints and nearby surfaces so cleaning one area does not leave the next one looking different.

2. Stone-Safe Pretreatment

We choose a cleaner that suits your stone and the kind of growth on it, then let it soak in. Dwell time is watched and adjusted for heat and shade, since a hot afternoon changes how fast a product works on porous stone compared with a cool morning.

3. Measured Cleaning Pass

The main cleaning uses low, controlled pressure matched to the material. We follow a set pattern across the area and overlap every pass, which keeps the finish uniform and prevents the wand marks that often show up after a rushed job.

4. Edges, Steps and Texture

Corners, stair noses, joint lines and rough stone faces hold dirt that a wide pass can miss. We go back over those details by hand where needed, so the edges match the middle and the whole area looks finished from any angle, including the view from your back door.

5. Rinse and Dry-Down Check

A full rinse carries away loosened grime and leftover cleaner. Wet stone can hide uneven areas, so we wait for it to start drying, then walk it again. If a spot needs another pass, we take care of it before we pack up and head out.

Stone Cleaning Pricing in Round Rock

Stone cleaning is quoted per job, and the quote costs nothing. The main factors are size, stone type and condition. A small slate entry takes far less time than a large travertine pool deck with heavy growth in the shaded corners. Stairs, walls, outdoor kitchens and tight access add detail work, so they factor in too. Once we have walked the property or looked at photos you send, we give you a clear price before any work is scheduled. Many Round Rock homeowners pair stone cleaning with house washing or driveway cleaning, and we can do the services together in one trip. Serving Round Rock From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

Round Rock is a city of 119,468 people, according to the 2020 census, spread across Williamson and Travis counties. It sits right on the Balcones Escarpment, the line between the flat, fertile Blackland Prairie east of I-35 and the hilly, karst-like Hill Country terrain to the west, where there is little topsoil over the rock.

Those two landscapes leave different marks on a house. Dark soil from the prairie side ends up on the bottom of siding and on concrete after every rain. On the Hill Country side, water moves fast and brings grit with it. In both places, shaded walls and roof planes grow algae during humid months.

Round Rock is about 7.5 miles from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in a straight line, and we serve neighborhoods on both sides of I-35.

We serve Round Rock along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

Stone Cleaning in Round Rock: Frequently Asked Questions

The aim is to reveal the original color of the stone, not alter it. Many homeowners are surprised by how much warmth returns once the pollen film and grime are gone. Cleaning evenly across the whole surface is what prevents light or dark patches, so every section should dry to a matching tone.
We choose eco-friendly, stone-safe products and protect nearby beds before we start. Plants are wetted down and rinsed again after cleaning. Keep pets inside while we work and until the stone has been rinsed. Around pools, we manage runoff carefully and rinse the deck so residue does not collect near the water.
In most cases, yes. The slick feel on a pool deck usually comes from organic film and residue sitting on the stone. Removing that layer brings back the natural grip of the surface. Shaded corners and areas near drains tend to improve the most, since they hold moisture the longest.
In most cases, yes. Soil splash and tracked dirt respond well to pre-treatment and a thorough rinse. We look at the stain on the walkthrough and tell you what to expect before we start.
Not usually. If we can reach the stone and use an outdoor water spigot, many customers are at work or away while we clean. We confirm gate codes, pets and any special requests ahead of time, then let you know when the job is done and how the stone turned out.
Many stains lift with the right pretreatment, including algae, pollen film and most everyday dirt. Deep rust, old oil and some mineral marks are harder, and they may lighten without disappearing. We point out those spots during the walkthrough so you know what to expect before we begin any work.
Some stone handles moderate pressure, and some does not. Travertine, limestone and slate can pit, flake or etch if hit with a narrow, high pressure tip or a harsh chemical. We pair low, controlled pressure with a stone-safe cleaner chosen for the material, which cleans the surface without roughening or discoloring it.
