Clean Green Power Washing

House Washing in Round Rock, TX

House Washing in Round Rock, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

House Washing for Round Rock Homes

Round Rock straddles the Balcones Escarpment about 15 miles north of Austin. East of I-35 the land is flat Blackland Prairie with black, fertile soil; to the west it turns into rocky Hill Country. That split shows up on the outside of Round Rock homes.

Is the outside of your home starting to look tired? In Round Rock, the usual culprits are easy to name. Pollen settles in a fine yellow layer. Dust from dry spells and construction sticks to it. Shade and humidity give algae and mildew a place to grow, especially on walls behind trees. Hard water from irrigation leaves spotting low on the siding. Clean Green Power Washing handles house washing with low pressure and a cleaning solution matched to what is actually on your walls. That protects paint, vinyl, stucco, brick and stone while the growth and film let go. Each visit starts with a walkthrough so you know what we see before any water runs, and your landscaping gets watered down and shielded first. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Reach us at (512) 662-8422 for a free quote.

What Our House Washing Covers in Round Rock

Soffits, Fascia and Eaves

The underside of the roofline is where spider webs, wasp nests and dark mildew spots collect, and guests notice it early from the front walk. We aim the gentle mix up into soffits and along fascia boards, then rinse them without soaking the attic vents. Clean eaves make the whole house look sharper, even from across the street.

Limestone and Natural Stone

Many homes around here use limestone or other natural stone on the facade. Stone is tough, but it is also porous and can etch under a hard spray. We treat it with low pressure and a solution suited to masonry, which lifts organic staining and environmental film while keeping the face of the stone and the mortar lines intact.

Porch Ceilings and Overhangs

Covered patios and porch ceilings trap moisture and attract insects, so they tend to gather mildew spots, cobwebs and mud dauber nests. We wash them from below with a gentle spray, taking care around ceiling fans, light fixtures and outlets, then rinse the walls and floor beneath so nothing drips onto a freshly cleaned surface later.

Mixed Material Exteriors

Plenty of houses combine two or three materials: stone on the lower level, siding above, painted trim everywhere. Each one reacts differently to water and cleaning products. Our walkthrough notes where one material ends and the next begins, so the approach on stucco is not the approach on wood trim, and the whole house still finishes evenly.

5 Common Siding Problems We Clean in Round Rock

Most exterior stains fall into a few familiar groups. Knowing which one you are looking at tells us how to treat it. Here are the problems we see most often when we wash homes in Round Rock. On the east side of Round Rock, the black prairie soil splashes onto lower walls and gets tracked across drives and walkways; on the west side, thin soil over rock means fast runoff that carries grit across hard surfaces.

Dull, Dusty Siding

Dry spells, nearby construction and road traffic send fine dust onto every wall. Over months it builds into a gray layer that flattens the color of the house. Rinsing with plain water tends to smear it around. Our cleaning mix loosens it so the rinse can carry it off cleanly.

Hard Water Marks Near the Ground

Sprinklers that hit the house every morning leave a crust of calcium and other minerals along the bottom of the walls. The marks look white on dark siding and tan on light siding. We address them during the wash and let you know if any are old enough to have marked the paint.

Black Streaks Under Gutters

Dark vertical lines below gutters and at roof corners come from runoff carrying dirt, shingle grit and organic matter down the wall. They make even a well kept house look neglected. We treat these streaks directly and rinse from the top down so they fade out instead of spreading.

Algae Behind Landscaping

Shrubs, vines and flower beds planted close to the house hold moisture against the walls and block airflow. That is prime ground for algae. We wet down the plants, treat the wall behind them with low pressure, and rinse the foliage afterward so it stays healthy.

Mildew on Soffits and Trim

Mildew shows up as small gray or black spots, usually on the underside of eaves and on trim boards that never dry fully. It can look like plain dirt, but it keeps growing if left alone. Soft washing reaches these areas and treats them without flooding the attic vents.

Why Round Rock Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Round Rock call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

How Our House Washing Process Works

House washing done right follows the same steps every time. Here is what happens from the moment our truck pulls up until we hand the house back to you.

1. Walkthrough and Surface Check

We start by walking around the house, with you or on our own if you are away. We note each material, from siding to stone, and identify what is actually causing the discoloration, whether that is pollen film, algae, mildew or runoff. That tells us which mix and dwell time to use.

2. Shield Beds, Lawn and Fixtures

Plants near the foundation get watered down so their leaves are saturated before cleaning starts. Doormats, planters and furniture close to the walls are moved aside. We check that windows are shut and exterior outlets are covered, so the only thing getting wet is the part of the house we mean to clean.

3. Even, Gentle Coverage

The wash solution goes on through a low pressure line, wall by wall, with a soft spray far gentler than a pressure washer. Coverage matters more than force here. A consistent coat across siding, trim and eaves is what makes the house dry to one color instead of showing patches.

4. Dwell Time

The solution needs a few minutes to attack organic growth and loosen film at its root. We watch it closely during this time, keeping it from drying on hot walls, and adjust for shaded areas that need a little longer. This waiting period is where most of the cleaning happens.

5. Careful Rinse and Final Look

We rinse from the top down with low pressure so water does not get forced into seams or behind panels. Once the house begins to dry, we walk it again, checking for streaks, missed spots or uneven patches, and touch up anything that needs it before we pack up.

House Washing Pricing in Round Rock

Every house washing quote we give in Round Rock is free, and it is built around your actual home rather than a flat rate. The main factors are the size of the house and how many stories it has, since taller walls take more time and more careful setup. The materials matter too: stone, stucco and painted trim each need their own handling. Heavy algae on shaded sides or years of runoff streaks add time compared to a light pollen film. Access plays a part as well, such as tight side yards, steep slopes or dense landscaping along the walls. We set the price once we have seen the property in person or reviewed a few clear photos. If you also want the driveway, windows or roof cleaned, we can schedule them for the same visit. Call (512) 662-8422 to start.

Serving Round Rock From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

Round Rock is a city of 119,468 people, according to the 2020 census, spread across Williamson and Travis counties. It sits right on the Balcones Escarpment, the line between the flat, fertile Blackland Prairie east of I-35 and the hilly, karst-like Hill Country terrain to the west, where there is little topsoil over the rock.

Those two landscapes leave different marks on a house. Dark soil from the prairie side ends up on the bottom of siding and on concrete after every rain. On the Hill Country side, water moves fast and brings grit with it. In both places, shaded walls and roof planes grow algae during humid months.

Round Rock is about 7.5 miles from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in a straight line, and we serve neighborhoods on both sides of I-35.

We serve Round Rock along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

House Washing in Round Rock: Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure washing uses a strong stream of water to strip dirt from hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses cleaning solutions at low pressure, letting the solution break down growth and grime rather than relying on force. For siding, stucco, painted trim and stone, soft washing is the safer choice, which is why we use it for house washing.
We connect to an outside spigot at your home, and the amount of water used depends on the size of the house and how much rinsing it needs. We also need a clear path around the house, unlocked gates and room to park and set up near the driveway. If a side yard is blocked or very narrow, mention it when you call.
For most homes, a yearly wash keeps the exterior looking fresh. Houses with a lot of shade, heavy tree cover or a big dose of cedar pollen each season may do well with a wash every six to nine months, since growth returns faster where walls stay damp. We can look at your property and suggest a schedule that fits how quickly it gets dirty.
In most cases, yes. Soil splash and tracked dirt respond well to pre-treatment and a thorough rinse. We look at the stain on the walkthrough and tell you what to expect before we start.
Most algae, mildew, pollen and runoff stains come off with a proper soft wash. Some marks are different: rust, paint overspray, deep mineral etching or discoloration that has soaked into old stone over many seasons. We identify these during the walkthrough and tell you what should come off, what may lighten, and what is likely permanent before we start.
Yes. Stone is common on homes in this area, and it needs a gentle approach because it is porous and can etch under high pressure. We use low pressure with a solution suited to masonry, which lifts algae and environmental film without roughing up the face of the stone or loosening the mortar between the pieces.
Yes, when it is done with care. We soak plants before and after the wash so they are protected, and we rinse nearby surfaces thoroughly when we finish. We ask that pets stay inside or away from the work area during the job, simply so they do not walk through wet solution or get tangled up with our hoses and equipment.
Yes. We work across Round Rock, east and west of I-35. Call (512) 662-8422 for a free quote.
