A Cleaner Exterior for Every Round Rock Neighborhood
Round Rock took its name from a large, anvil-shaped limestone rock in Brushy Creek that marked a low-water crossing for wagons, horses and cattle. A small community formed on the banks of the creek in 1851 and was renamed for the rock in 1854, and after the Civil War the Chisholm Trail crossed Brushy Creek right at that spot. Today the city of 119,468 people spreads across Williamson and Travis counties about 15 miles north of Austin, at an elevation of 709 feet. It straddles the Balcones Escarpment. East of I-35 the land is flat, with the black, fertile soils of the Blackland Prairie; west of the escarpment the terrain is hilly and karst-like, with little topsoil over the rock. That split shows on the outside of homes. On the east side, dark prairie soil splashes onto lower walls in heavy rain and gets tracked across drives and walks. On the west side, rain runs off thin soil quickly and carries grit across concrete and stone on its way downhill. The climate works on both halves of town: Round Rock is humid subtropical, with generally hot, humid summers and mild, cool winters, the kind of weather in which green growth keeps coming back on shaded siding, fences and roofs.
Each visit starts with a walkthrough. Delicate surfaces such as paint, shingles and stone get a soft wash at low pressure, and driveways and walks get surface cleaning equipment for an even finish. For a free quote in Round Rock, call (512) 662-8422.

Common Exterior Problems We Clean Around Round Rock
A handful of problems account for most of the calls we get. Here is what they are and how we handle each one.
Algae and Mildew in the Shade
The north side of a house and anything under tree cover dries slowly, which is exactly what algae and mildew need. We treat these areas with a low-pressure solution that breaks the growth down before we rinse.
Black Streaks on the Roof
Dark streaks running down shingles are usually algae feeding on the roofing. High pressure strips granules, so we clean roofs with a soft wash that removes the staining without damaging the roof.
Seasonal Pollen
Cedar pollen season leaves a sticky film that mixes with dust and moisture. We break it down with the right solution so the true color of the surface shows again.
Driveway Stains
Oil spots, tire lanes and traffic film sink into porous concrete over time. Pretreatment loosens them, and a surface cleaner keeps the result even from edge to edge.
Hard Water and Sprinkler Spots
Sprinklers leave mineral spots on lower walls, windows and stone that do not wash off with plain water. We treat them during the clean and tell you honestly if older spotting has etched the surface.
Gutter Overflow Streaks
When a downspout is blocked, rainwater backs up and runs down the face of the gutter and the wall. Those dark tiger stripes come off with the right cleaner once the gutter itself is flowing again.

Here is what homeowners in Round Rock can count on when our crew arrives.
Low Pressure Where It Belongs
Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.
An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

A Local Shop Since 2018
Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

The Steps Behind Every Round Rock Job
The work is the same careful routine on every property we clean in Round Rock. Here is how a visit runs.
1. Look Around First
Before any equipment comes off the truck, we check the materials, the staining and the landscaping so the plan fits the property.
2. Shield What Surrounds the Work
Beds, lawns and fixtures near the work area are protected first, so the yard looks the same when we leave.
3. Treat the Surface
The right solution goes on at low pressure for siding, roofs and stone, or as a pretreatment for concrete, and it is given time to work.
4. Wash and Detail
Walls are rinsed at low pressure, concrete is cleaned with a surface cleaner, and edges, corners and steps are detailed by hand.
5. Finish and Review
A final look after the rinse confirms the result, and the work area is cleaned up before the crew packs up.
What to Expect on Service Day in Round Rock
Service day starts with a look around. The crew checks each surface, notes the plants and fixtures near the work and confirms the plan with you if you are home. You do not need to be there, as long as gates are open, pets are indoors and we can reach an outside spigot. We work through the property one area at a time, and we do a final check as surfaces dry. Before we pack up, the work area is rinsed and tidied, so the yard is ready to use again.
Round Rock Pressure Washing Pricing
Round Rock counted 45,844 housing units at the 2020 census. Most of them are young in the life of the town. The Handbook of Texas records 2,811 residents in 1970, 11,812 in 1980, 30,923 in 1990 and 61,136 in 2000, and the 2020 census counted 119,468. Much of that growth came through municipal utility districts, which are typically formed by a residential developer to put in utilities and roads. Brushy Creek MUD began with 725 acres in October 1977 and grew to 2,210 acres after a 1983 annexation. The age of a subdivision tells us a lot before we arrive, since homes from the late 1970s have had decades longer to weather than those in newer districts. Terrain matters too: a home on the flat prairie east of I-35 and one on the rocky hills to the west drain and stain in different ways.
Every quote is free and is set after we see the property or a few clear photos. The price depends on:
- Size: the square footage of siding, roof or concrete to be cleaned
- Height: the number of stories and how the roofline is reached
- Surface type: stone, stucco, painted wood, vinyl, tile, shingle or concrete, each with its own method
- Condition: how heavy the algae, mildew, oil or staining is and how long it has been there
- Access: slopes, narrow side yards, dense planting and gated areas
Booking more than one service in the same visit is easy, and we quote them together, so a house wash, a roof clean and a driveway clean can all be done in one trip. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Proudly Serving Round Rock With Local Roots
Round Rock is a city of 119,468 people in Williamson and Travis counties, about 15 miles north of Austin and 10 miles south of Georgetown. It began in 1851 as a settlement on Brushy Creek beside the rock that gave it its name, and it sits right on the Balcones Escarpment.
Chisholm Trail Crossing Park
Chisholm Trail Crossing Park marks the place where the Chisholm Trail crossed Brushy Creek at the round rock. The park was dedicated in 2003, and Texas artist Jim Thomas was commissioned for its bronze sculptures, among them The Pioneer Woman, The Pioneer Boy, The Bell Steer, Goin’ to Water and a resting longhorn. The pioneer woman and her son honor Hattie Cluck and her son Emmitt. For families here it is a short walk into the town’s own history, with the creek that started it all right beside the path.
Old Settlers Park
Old Settlers Park covers 670 acres at 3300 Palm Valley Boulevard. It holds a 20-field baseball complex, a 5-field softball complex, soccer fields, a disc golf course and a cricket field, plus about 3.3 miles of paved trail and Bright Lake, which the Texas Parks and Wildlife hatchery program stocks with bass, catfish and perch. Each July 4 the Frontier Days celebration in the park recreates the Sam Bass shootout of 1878. It is where much of the city’s weekend sports life happens, out in the open air from the first spring games to the long summer tournaments.
Old Town and the Saint Charles Hotel
Old Town is the historic heart of Round Rock, where most of the old buildings, including the old Saint Charles Hotel, have been preserved. Downtown was the scene of the Sam Bass shootout on July 19, 1878, when Texas Rangers caught up with the train robber here, and Bass is buried in Round Rock Cemetery on Sam Bass Road, northwest of Old Town. When Interstate 35 was routed through town after 1956, it followed the edge of the Balcones Fault line and cut Old Town on the west off from the newer downtown to the east.
Round Rock is a city of many subdivisions, and ten of them are organized as municipal utility districts: Brushy Creek, Fern Bluff, Highlands at Mayfield Ranch, Meadows at Chandler Creek, Paloma Lake, Parkside at Mayfield Ranch, Siena, Teravista, Vista Oaks and Walsh Ranch. Brushy Creek MUD dates to October 1977 and runs its own parks, utilities, road maintenance and homeowners association. Fern Bluff MUD sits in the Wyoming Springs area of town. Old Town lies west of I-35 with the newer downtown to the east, and La Frontera, where Loop 1, SH 45 and IH 35 meet, stands near State Highway 45, where Round Rock shares a border with Austin.
Round Rock’s split terrain gives its homes two different sets of problems. East of I-35, the Blackland Prairie soil is known locally as black waxy for its high clay content, and when rain splashes it onto lower siding, brick and garage doors it leaves dark marks that build up season after season. West of the escarpment, thin soil over karst rock means rain runs off quickly, carrying grit across driveways, walks and patios. Round Rock’s hot, humid summers keep green growth coming back on shaded siding, fences and roofs on both sides of the highway. And in older districts such as Brushy Creek, formed in 1977, decades of this weather have had time to settle into concrete and paint.
We serve Round Rock along with every town on our areas served page, from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin. See photos and reviews of our pressure washing in Round Rock on our Google Business Profile.
