A Cleaner Exterior for Every Rollingwood Neighborhood
Rollingwood is a compact Travis County city of 0.7 square mile, about three miles west of downtown Austin near Loop 360, with 1,467 residents at the 2020 census. Its story starts with ranch land. In 1904 Condido Dellana, an Italian immigrant who had worked as a stoneworker on the State Capitol, bought 1,800 acres running from Barton Creek on the south to the Colorado River on the north, and in 1946 the brothers A.B. and George B. Hatley bought 300 acres. George developed the inner streets, A.B. developed the river side along Stratford Drive, and almost every street name in town honors a member of the Hatley family. When the village incorporated in 1955 there were only 28 homes, and there was no trash pickup until 1960. Today Bee Caves Road is the main artery, with businesses between MoPac and Walsh Tarleton Lane, and Rollingwood Park sits beside City Hall on Nixon Drive. The setting is the western edge of the Austin area, where the land turns to rolling hills of limestone under thin topsoil, and Austin’s humid subtropical climate adds warmth and moisture. For a house here that means a town that grew from 28 homes in 1955, ground that rolls with the hills, and walls and roofs that hold damp where the sun reaches them least.
Our method is simple: we look at every surface before any water goes on, clean siding, roofs and stone with a low-pressure soft wash, and use surface cleaning equipment on concrete. Call (512) 662-8422 and we will set up a free quote for your Rollingwood home.
Pressure Washing for Rollingwood Homes and Businesses
Residential Services in Rollingwood
- House Washing in Rollingwood: A low-pressure soft wash that lifts algae, mildew, pollen and dust from siding, trim, soffits and stone accents, with plants protected and every side rinsed evenly so the house dries to one color.
- Roof Soft Washing in Rollingwood: Dark streaks and green growth removed from shingle, tile and metal roofs with a roof-safe solution at low pressure, never a pressure wand on the roofing, so the roof brightens without losing granules.
- Driveway & Garage Cleaning in Rollingwood: Traffic lanes, oil drips, tire marks and organic film lifted from driveways, aprons, garage floors and walks, with pretreatment first and surface cleaning equipment for an even finish.
- Window Cleaning in Rollingwood: Pollen haze, dust film and sprinkler spots cleared from glass, frames, sills and screens, finished with a squeegee so the glass dries clear instead of streaked.
- Gutter Cleaning in Rollingwood: Packed leaves and debris removed by hand, corners and valleys cleared and downspouts checked for flow, so water drains away from the house instead of spilling over the edge.
- Deck & Fence Cleaning in Rollingwood: Wood, stained, painted and composite decks and fences cleaned with controlled pressure, board by board and section by section, so the boards come out even without splinters or stripes.
- Natural Stone Cleaning in Rollingwood: Patios, pool decks, walkways and walls of limestone, travertine, flagstone and slate cleaned with stone-safe methods matched to the material, so the stone keeps its texture and color.

Common Exterior Problems We Clean Around Rollingwood
Most of what dulls a home’s exterior in Central Texas comes from a short list of causes. These are the ones we clean most often.
Green Algae on Shaded Walls
Walls that miss the afternoon sun stay damp after rain and sprinklers, and a green film spreads across them. A soft wash kills the growth at the root instead of just knocking the top layer off, so it takes longer to return.
Roof Discoloration
Patchy, uneven color on a roof is often organic growth rather than dirt. We clean it with a roof-safe solution at low pressure, never with a pressure wand on the shingles.
Pollen and Dust Haze
A yellow or gray haze on siding, glass and patios is usually pollen mixed with dust. It does not rinse away on its own, and a cleaning solution is what lets it release.
Oil and Tire Marks on Concrete
Heat bakes vehicle drips and tire lanes into driveways and garage floors. Degreaser and dwell time come first, then surface cleaning equipment gives an even finish without stripes.
Mineral Deposits
Irrigation overspray dries into mineral deposits on siding, glass and stone. We look at them on the walkthrough, treat them as part of the job and say plainly what will and will not come off.
Clogged Gutters
Leaves, pollen and grit settle into gutters and turn into sludge that blocks downspouts. Water then pours over the edge and stains the trim below. Clearing the gutters and rinsing the fascia fixes both problems.
What Rollingwood Homeowners Count On From Us
Here is what homeowners in Rollingwood can count on when our crew arrives.
Low Pressure Where It Belongs
Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.
An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean
Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.
A Local Shop Since 2018
Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.
A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On
Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

The Steps Behind Every Rollingwood Job
Every Rollingwood job follows the same five steps, whether it is a single driveway or the whole exterior.
1. Walkthrough
We walk the property with you or on our own, note each surface and material, and find the cause of every stain: pollen film, algae, mildew, runoff, oil or hard water.
2. Prep and Protection
We protect landscaping and sensitive areas before cleaning starts, because a careful job keeps runoff where it belongs.
3. Pretreat
Organic growth and traffic film are broken down with a pretreatment, so the stain releases without extra force.
4. Clean and Rinse
We rinse from the top down, or run surface cleaning equipment across concrete, so the finish dries even without stripes or wand marks.
5. Walk It Again
We check the work as it dries, because some surfaces look perfect wet and show unevenness later, and fix anything that needs it.
What to Expect on Service Day in Rollingwood
On the day of the visit, the crew arrives in the window we set when you booked and starts with a short walk around the property. If you are home, we go over what we plan to clean and point out anything that needs special care, such as older paint, soft stone or plants close to the walls. If you are away, we only need gates unlocked, pets inside and an outside spigot. We work through the property one area at a time. Before we leave, we check the work, rinse the beds again and tidy the area, so the yard looks the way we found it, only cleaner.
Rollingwood Pressure Washing Pricing
The 2020 census counted 515 housing units in Rollingwood, all within 0.7 square mile. The town filled in over decades: 28 homes when the village incorporated in 1955, then 390 residents in 1960, 780 in 1970, 905 in 1980 and 1,388 in 1990, according to the Handbook of Texas. So the housing stock spans many years on the same short list of streets, from George Hatley’s inner blocks to A.B. Hatley’s river side along Stratford Drive. For our work, that age range matters. An older house may need a gentler approach on siding and trim that have seen decades of weather, while a newer one may bring more stone and glass. Access to side yards, the pitch of the lot and where rinse water will drain are things we check during the walkthrough before work begins.
Every quote is free and is set after we see the property or a few clear photos. The price depends on:
- Size: the square footage of siding, roof or concrete to be cleaned
- Height: the number of stories and how the roofline is reached
- Surface type: stone, stucco, painted wood, vinyl, tile, shingle or concrete, each with its own method
- Condition: how heavy the algae, mildew, oil or staining is and how long it has been there
- Access: slopes, narrow side yards, dense planting and gated areas
Booking more than one service in the same visit is easy, and we quote them together, so a house wash, a roof clean and a driveway clean can all be done in one trip. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Proudly Serving Rollingwood With Local Roots
Rollingwood is a Travis County city of 1,467 people at the 2020 census, set on 0.7 square mile of land about three miles west of downtown Austin near Loop 360. George B. Hatley founded and developed it in 1955, and it became a city with a mayor-council government in 1963.
Rollingwood Park
Rollingwood Park began with eleven acres the Western Hills Optimist Club bought from George B. Hatley, bordered by Rollingwood Drive, Nixon, Gentry, Wallis and Pleasant Drive. In 1968 the ball fields were leveled with dirt trucked over from the expansion of Bee Caves Road, and the park opened in 1985, first under the name Hatley Park, after six years of volunteer work. The club sold 8.934 acres of parkland to the city in 1993. A walking trail and Community Education Garden came in 2010, and a waterwise garden by Scott Ogden and Lauren Springer Ogden followed in 2014.
Rollingwood City Hall on Nixon Drive
City Hall stands on Nixon Drive, on 1.0009 acres the city bought from the Optimist Club in 1971. The 3,500 square foot building went up in 1975 and took 120 days to build, and it sits right next to Rollingwood Park. The government inside has run on a mayor-council form since 1963. In 1985 Rollingwood joined Travis County Rural Fire Prevention District 1, which ended the volunteer fire department that had served the town in its early years. Today the building and the park beside it form the civic center of this small city.
Bee Caves Road
Bee Caves Road is Rollingwood’s main artery, and the town’s businesses line it between MoPac and Walsh Tarleton Lane while the rest of Rollingwood stays mostly residential. The road has shaped the town in quieter ways too. When Bee Caves Road was expanded in the late 1960s, the extra dirt was trucked to Rollingwood Park and used to level its ball fields in 1968. For residents, it is the line where the small commercial strip meets the Hatley-era streets, and the road that runs past the park and City Hall side of town.
Two parts of Rollingwood trace back to the Hatley brothers: the inner streets George B. Hatley developed, and the Colorado River side A.B. Hatley developed along Stratford Drive. Rollingwood Drive, Nixon, Gentry, Wallis and Pleasant Drive frame the park block beside City Hall. The old Dellana ranch that once covered this ground also took in present-day Treemont, the site of Barton Creek Mall and the MoPac freeway corridor, so those nearby areas share Rollingwood’s roots. Students here are served by Eanes ISD, including Westlake High School, which opened in 1970.
Rollingwood sits on the west side of Austin, where the flat eastern land gives way to rolling hills of limestone with a thin covering of topsoil. Thin soil over rock holds little water, so storm runoff crosses sloped yards and leaves silt lines on drives, walks and the base of walls. Austin’s humid subtropical climate lets algae and mildew build on shaded siding, fences and roof slopes. The river side along Stratford Drive sits closer to the Colorado River, where moisture can linger longer on shaded surfaces. With homes going back to the 1950s on the same streets, some older paint and trim call for low-pressure soft washing, while concrete drives suit surface cleaning equipment.
We serve Rollingwood along with every town on our areas served page, from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin. See photos and reviews of our pressure washing in Rollingwood on our Google Business Profile.
