Driveway Cleaning for Pflugerville Homes

Pflugerville, 18 miles north of Austin, is a city of 65,191 people named for the German family that farmed the land from 1849. Its homes deal with the same heat, pollen and humidity as the rest of Central Texas, and they respond well to a regular exterior clean.

A driveway takes more abuse than almost any other surface at your home. Cars roll across it twice a day, drips land in the same spot each night, and dust settles into every pore of the concrete. In Pflugerville, cedar pollen and summer heat add their own layer, and the result is a slab that looks tired long before its time. Clean Green Power Washing brings that concrete back to an even, brighter finish. We clean the main driveway, the apron where it meets the street, the garage floor and the walkways that connect to it, so the whole approach to your home matches. Our crew uses pretreatments and a rotary surface cleaner instead of brute pressure, which protects the concrete and keeps stripes off the slab. Concrete Surfaces We Clean Around Your Home

Inside the Garage Door

Right where the garage door closes, dirt piles up in a thin gritty band that brooms never quite reach. Farther in, parked cars leave drip marks and tire scuffs. We treat the floor according to whether it has a sealer or bare concrete, then clean it evenly so there are no bright patches next to dull ones.

The Apron and Street Entry

The apron is the section where your driveway meets the street or sidewalk. It catches runoff, gutter grit and the dirt that tires carry in from the road. Because it faces traffic and weather first, it often looks darker than the rest of the slab. We give it the same pretreatment and careful cleaning so it blends with the driveway.

The Entry Pad at the Curb

The pad near the street takes runoff from the road, grit from the gutter line and debris every time it rains. It tends to turn darker than the slab behind it. We clean it as part of the driveway, not as an afterthought, so the transition from street to garage looks consistent when you pull in.

Connected Walkways

Walkways that branch off the driveway usually share its staining, since the same pollen, dust and shade reach them. Leaving them dirty makes a freshly cleaned driveway look unfinished. When you want them included, we clean the path to the front door or side gate so the whole approach to your home matches from end to end.

5 Common Driveway Problems We Clean in Pflugerville

Concrete soaks up almost everything that lands on it. These five problems show up on nearly every driveway we clean, and each one needs its own treatment before any water touches the slab. Here is what we look for. Pflugerville is a city of 65,191 people, and across that many homes the same trouble spots come up again and again: the shaded side of the house, the lower wall behind the sprinklers, and the lane where the car parks.

Grease Spots Under Parked Cars

Where you park each night, small drips add up. Grease works its way below the surface, so pressure alone only moves it around. A dedicated degreaser needs dwell time to pull the residue out of the concrete. We tell you up front what to expect from older, deeper spots.

Dark Tire Lanes

Rubber and road film build up in the paths your wheels follow each day, and summer heat presses them deeper. Pretreatment breaks that residue down so the surface cleaner can lift it evenly, bringing the lanes back in line with the rest of the concrete.

Slick Green or Black Growth

Organic growth loves the damp corners of a driveway, especially near shrubs, fences and the shaded side of the house. It stains the concrete and creates a slip hazard for kids, guests and delivery drivers. Treating it properly keeps it from simply smearing across the slab.

Motor Oil Stains

Oil is the stain homeowners worry about most. New spots usually lift completely once a degreaser has had time to work. Spots that have sat for years tend to lighten a lot, and sometimes a faint outline stays. We look at each one and give you a straight answer before we begin.

Mildew on the Shady Side

Parts of the driveway that sit under trees or beside the north wall hold moisture after rain and sprinkler runs. Mildew and algae settle in and leave a dark, greasy look. We break the growth down with a pretreatment, so it rinses clean rather than spreading across the rest.

Why Pflugerville Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Pflugerville call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

A Local Shop Since 2018

Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On

Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

How Our Driveway Cleaning Process Works

Pressure alone does not clean concrete well, and too much of it causes damage. Our five-step method relies on pretreatment and steady equipment, so the slab comes out bright and even.

1. Look Before We Wash

Our visit begins on foot. We note where cars park, which areas stay shaded, and whether the garage floor is sealed or bare. Spotting oil, rust, algae and road film now means each one gets the right treatment later, and you hear what to expect up front.

2. Targeted Pretreatment

Organic film and traffic grime get a pretreatment that breaks them down so they lift rather than smear. Any oil or grease spot receives a degreaser with enough dwell time to draw residue out of the pores. This is where most of the cleaning actually happens.

3. Even Passes Across the Driveway

We clean the open slab with a spinning surface cleaner rather than a narrow wand. Because the spray stays the same distance from the concrete on every pass, the driveway dries to a single tone with no tiger stripes or lap marks showing afterward.

4. Edge Detail and Garage Floor

Corners, joints, borders and tight spots the machine cannot reach get detailed by hand so they match the open concrete. Then we move into the garage and clean the floor with controlled technique, keeping the result even so there are no bright patches beside dull ones.

5. Final Rinse and Second Look

We rinse everything, including the lawn edges and nearby beds. Then we wait for the concrete to begin drying and inspect it again, because streaks and missed spots often show only as the water fades. Anything uneven gets cleaned before we pack up.

Driveway Cleaning Pricing in Pflugerville

We do not use a flat rate for driveway cleaning, since a short two-car pad and a long curved drive with a three-car garage are very different jobs. What shapes your price: total area, the type of finish, the number and age of oil spots, how much algae has grown in shaded sections, and whether we clean inside the garage as well. Once we have walked the property or reviewed a few photos, we give you a clear quote at no cost. If you would like your house, deck or fence cleaned while we are already in Pflugerville, we can schedule those services together in a single trip. To get a free quote, call (512) 662-8422 or send pictures of the concrete you want cleaned.

We also offer house washing in Pflugerville, roof cleaning in Pflugerville, window cleaning in Pflugerville, gutter cleaning in Pflugerville, deck cleaning in Pflugerville and stone cleaning in Pflugerville, and every service we cover is listed on our exterior cleaning services page.

Serving Pflugerville From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

Pflugerville takes its name from the German settlers who farmed the area from 1849. The first was Henry Pfluger Sr., a German immigrant who lived from 1803 to 1867, who settled here with his family. The city was first incorporated in July 1965.

Pflugerville counted 65,191 residents at the 2020 census. It sits mostly in Travis County with a small portion in Williamson County, 18 miles north of Austin. Like the rest of the area it has long, hot and humid summers, which is exactly the weather algae and mildew need to grow back on siding, roofs and concrete.

Our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd is about 9.5 miles from Pflugerville in a straight line. We route visits so that several services on one property, for example a house wash, a driveway clean and a fence clean, can be done together.

We serve Pflugerville along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

Driveway Cleaning in Pflugerville: Frequently Asked Questions

For most homes, once every year or two keeps the concrete looking fresh. Driveways under trees, on the shady side of the house or with heavy daily traffic may need it more often. Garage floors usually do well with a yearly deep clean. We can suggest a schedule after we see how quickly your slab picks up grime.
You do not need to be home. We need a working outdoor faucet, the vehicles moved off the driveway, and the garage left open or unlocked if the floor is included. Clearing bikes, planters and stored items helps too. We let you know when the job is finished so you can take a look.
Some marks, like very old oil, deep rust or etching from past pressure washing, have changed the concrete itself. Cleaning can lighten them a lot, but it cannot rebuild the surface. We point these out during the walkthrough so there are no surprises, and we focus on getting the rest of the slab as even as possible.
All of it. Pflugerville is mostly in Travis County with a small portion in Williamson County, and we serve homes on both sides.
Newer oil stains usually come out completely once the degreaser has had time to work. Older ones that have soaked in for years almost always lighten a great deal, although a faint shadow may stay. We look at each stain during the walkthrough and tell you plainly what to expect before we begin.
It can when the pressure is too high or the tip is held too close, which is how etching and scarring happen. We avoid that by letting pretreatments loosen the grime first and keeping the pressure controlled. The surface cleaner also spreads the spray evenly, so no single spot takes a concentrated blast.
Yes. We rinse nearby beds and grass before and after the work, and we choose solutions that suit the stains without harming the landscape. Pets should stay inside or in the backyard while we work, mostly to keep them away from equipment and wet surfaces. Once everything is rinsed and dry, they can go back out.
Yes. Many Pflugerville homeowners book the house, driveway and fence in one visit. Tell us what you want cleaned when you call (512) 662-8422 and we will quote it together.
