A Cleaner Exterior for Every Pflugerville Neighborhood
Pflugerville sits in northern Travis County, with a small portion in Williamson County, about 14 miles northeast of downtown Austin along FM 1825, the road that runs through town as Pecan Street. The city is named for the German settlers who farmed the land from 1849, starting with Henry Pfluger Sr. and his family, and for generations it grew slowly. A small downtown took shape by the mid-1890s, the town site was platted in sixteen blocks on February 19, 1904, and the city was not incorporated until July 1965. Then the pace changed: the population went from 745 in 1980 to 4,444 in 1990 and reached 65,191 at the 2020 census. Water runs through much of the city. Gilleland Creek and Wilbarger Creek cross it, and Lake Pflugerville, a 180-acre reservoir created in 2005, is its one body of water. The city counts 28 developed parks and more than 40 miles of trails. For the outside of a home, that setting means two things. Houses near the creek corridors and park trees deal with more shade, leaf litter and damp than homes on open ground, which take the full Texas sun on siding, trim and fences. Add a range of building ages, from houses about a century old to master-planned subdivisions such as Blackhawk, developed in 1997, and no two homes need quite the same cleaning.
We match the method to the material: a gentle soft wash for siding, roofs and stone, and surface cleaning equipment for concrete, with plants and beds protected throughout. Pflugerville homeowners can call (512) 662-8422 for a free quote.

Common Exterior Problems We Clean Around Pflugerville
The same few culprits show up on siding, roofs and concrete across the area. This is what they look like and what we do about them.
Organic Growth
Green and black growth on siding, fences and stone is alive, and scrubbing or blasting it off leaves the roots behind. The right solution and enough dwell time clear it without harming the surface.
Dark Roof Stains
Streaks that start near the ridge and run down the slope make a roof look older than it is. A low-pressure roof soft wash lifts them safely, and the roof keeps brightening in the days after.
Cedar Pollen Film
Each winter and spring, cedar pollen settles on everything and turns sticky in humid air. It clings to siding, windows and textured stone until a proper wash dissolves it.
Stained Concrete
Driveways and walks collect oil, rust, tire marks and organic film. We treat each stain type first, because pressure alone rarely lifts the worst of them and too much can etch the surface.
Sprinkler Marks
White and tan spots near the ground come from irrigation water drying on the surface again and again. Many come out completely, and we set expectations up front for the stubborn ones.
Overflowing Gutters and Stained Fascia
Packed gutters spill water over the edge, which streaks fascia and siding and can dump water beside the foundation. We clear the debris by hand, check the downspouts and wash off the streaks it left behind.
What Pflugerville Homeowners Count On From Us
Here is what homeowners in Pflugerville can count on when our crew arrives.
Low Pressure Where It Belongs
Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.
An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean
Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.
A Local Shop Since 2018
Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.
A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On
Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

The Steps Behind Every Pflugerville Job
From the first look to the last rinse, a visit to a Pflugerville home follows five steps.
1. Surface Check
A quick inspection tells us what each surface is made of and what is discoloring it, which decides the method, the solution and the pressure.
2. Protect the Property
Plants and beds are wet down, light items are moved, and outlets, vents and fixtures are noted so the work stays controlled.
3. Apply and Dwell
A cleaning solution matched to the surface is applied evenly and left to loosen the growth and grime at the root.
4. Even Cleaning
Controlled pressure and steady technique give a uniform finish across the whole surface, including the corners and edges.
5. Final Check
Once surfaces start to dry, we walk the property again, touch up anything missed and leave the area clean.
What to Expect on Service Day in Pflugerville
Here is how a visit usually goes. The crew arrives, walks the property and confirms what is on the list. Plants and outdoor items near the work are protected before any solution goes on. You can be home for it, but you do not have to be: unlocked gates, pets inside and an outside spigot are all we need. When the cleaning is done, we look over every surface as it dries, touch up anything that needs it and leave the work area clean.
Pflugerville Pressure Washing Pricing
Pflugerville had 23,985 housing units at the 2020 census, and most of the city’s growth is recent. It counted 745 residents in 1980, new development through most of that decade made it grow quickly, and the population reached 16,335 in 2000 on the way to 65,191 in 2020. Blackhawk, developed in 1997 northeast of the intersection of highways 45 and 130, was the city’s first master-planned community, and Falcon Pointe covers 710 acres at that same intersection. At the other end of the range, Pflugerville still has houses about a century old. That mix affects the work. A house that has weathered a hundred Texas summers needs a gentler approach on old wood and paint than a home built in the last twenty-five years, and large planned communities put many homes of the same age and build side by side.
Every quote is free and is set after we see the property or a few clear photos. The price depends on:
- Size: the square footage of siding, roof or concrete to be cleaned
- Height: the number of stories and how the roofline is reached
- Surface type: stone, stucco, painted wood, vinyl, tile, shingle or concrete, each with its own method
- Condition: how heavy the algae, mildew, oil or staining is and how long it has been there
- Access: slopes, narrow side yards, dense planting and gated areas
Booking more than one service in the same visit is easy, and we quote them together, so a house wash, a roof clean and a driveway clean can all be done in one trip. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Proudly Serving Pflugerville With Local Roots
Pflugerville is a city of 65,191 people in northern Travis County, with a small portion in Williamson County, about 14 miles northeast of downtown Austin along FM 1825. It began with Henry Pfluger Sr. and the German families who farmed here from 1849, and it was incorporated in July 1965.
Lake Pflugerville
Lake Pflugerville is a 180-acre reservoir created in 2005 to provide the city with drinking water. It is open for fishing, swimming, jogging, canoes, kayaks and windsurfing, and the park around it has a three-mile walking and jogging trail, a playground, a boat launch, a pavilion and a beach area. As the only body of water inside the city, it is a shared meeting point for the whole town, whether that means an evening walk around the loop, a morning cast from the bank, or a summer afternoon on the beach with the kids.
Pfluger Park on Gilleland Creek
Pfluger Park runs along Gilleland Creek and is where the city holds its annual German festival, the Deutschen Pfest, on the third weekend in October, a nod to the families who settled here in 1849. The park has the Fallen Warrior Memorial, trails, a grove, a playground, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic areas and large shade trees, and it is also used for music events. Gilleland Creek and Wilbarger Creek are the two creeks that cross the city, and the park keeps a stretch of its bank open to everyone.
Main Street and Pecan Street
The original downtown grew along Main Street and Pecan Street, where wooden buildings went up as the small town took shape, many of them built by Conrad Pfluger, one of Henry Pfluger Sr.’s eight sons. The first commercial business was a general store Louis Bohls built in 1890, and the post office opened in 1893 with Bohls as its first postmaster. In 1904 the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad finished its track between Georgetown and Austin just outside town, and the community grew rapidly. Pecan Street is still FM 1825, the road that carries the city today.
Blackhawk, developed in 1997 northeast of the intersection of highways 45 and 130, was Pflugerville’s first master-planned community and has more than 200 acres of parks and open space. Falcon Pointe sits at that same intersection on 710 acres beside Blackhawk Golf Club. Other named communities across the city include Avalon, Carmel, Villages of Hidden Lake, Commons at Rowe Lane, Highland Park, Brookfield Estates, Sorento, Verona, Windermere and Old Town East. State Highway 130 and State Highway 45 opened in November 2006, and about three miles of SH 130 run through Pflugerville, including the interchange with SH 45 that these neighborhoods take their bearings from.
Pflugerville’s specific setting comes down to creeks, parks and a wide range of ages. Gilleland Creek and Wilbarger Creek both run through the city, and Pfluger Park’s large shade trees line Gilleland Creek, so homes near those corridors see more shade and damp on the walls, fences and roofs that face them. The city grew from 4,444 residents in 1990 to 65,191 in 2020, which means many driveways, walks and fences here have now been through one to three decades of Texas weather, often in neighborhoods where every home was built at about the same time. Houses about a century old carry wood and paint that need a lighter touch than any newer siding.
