Clean Green Power Washing

Window Cleaning in Lakeway, TX

Window Cleaning in Lakeway, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

Window Cleaning for Lakeway Homes

Lakeway sits on Lake Travis 16 miles west of Austin, and it grew from 11,391 residents in 2010 to 19,189 in 2020. Lake air, strong sun and Hill Country trees keep siding, roofs, stone and concrete busy collecting growth and grime.

Glass in Lakeway takes a beating that most homeowners never notice until the light changes. Cedar pollen settles into a yellow film, dust drifts into the corners, and sprinkler overspray leaves chalky dots that dry hard in the Texas heat. After a storm, the panes pick up fine specks that make every room look a little gray. Clean Green Power Washing sends a crew that treats windows as their own job, not an afterthought tacked onto a house wash. We clean the outside glass, the inside glass when you ask for it, plus the frames, the sills and the screens, then finish each pane so it dries clear instead of smeared. Call (512) 662-8422 or send a few photos for a free quote, and we will set up a visit that fits your week.

Street Side, Patio Side and Everything Between

Exterior Glass

The outside of each pane collects the heaviest load: pollen, dust, bird droppings, sprinkler minerals and the fine grit that storms blow in. We wash every accessible exterior pane, loosen the film that a garden hose only smears around, and finish with a squeegee pass so the glass dries evenly. This is the side neighbors see, and it changes the look of the house quickly.

Windows Facing the Street

Front windows shape how the house reads from the curb. We give them a full wash and squeegee finish, then look at them from the driveway to confirm they read clear rather than hazy. If a front pane carries sprinkler spots from the lawn heads below it, we point that out during the walkthrough and talk through which marks should lift.

Frames and Sills

A clear pane surrounded by gritty trim still looks unfinished. Dust and pollen gather on frames and sills, and the next rain washes that dirt right back down the glass as brown drip lines. We wipe down the frames and sills on every window we clean, so the whole opening looks sharp and the fresh glass holds its shine for longer.

Screens

Screens trap pollen, dust and spider silk in their mesh, and a dirty screen sits directly in front of the glass you just had cleaned. We clean accessible screens as a separate step, away from the panes, so that grime cannot transfer back onto them. Clean screens also let more light and more breeze into the house on mild spring days.

5 Common Window Problems We Clean in Lakeway

Central Texas glass rarely gets dirty in just one way. Most windows we see carry two or three of these problems at once, and each one needs a slightly different approach to come off without leaving streaks behind. Hurst Creek runs through the middle of Lakeway on its way to Lake Travis, and homes near the water and in the shaded creek areas deal with more moisture than homes on open, sunny lots.

Cedar Pollen Haze

Mountain cedar pollen arrives in winter and clings to glass as a fine yellow coating. A rinse from the hose tends to smear it rather than remove it. After a heavy season, windows can look permanently tinted. Our wash breaks that coating loose, and our squeegee finish leaves the pane clear again.

Film That Hose Water Will Not Move

Pollen, dust and humidity combine into a sticky film that water alone just spreads around. From indoors it looks like a thin fog over the yard. A proper cleaning solution breaks that film down, and a careful squeegee finish removes it instead of pushing it into streaks.

Residue Streaks From Past Cleanings

Plenty of windows have been cleaned, just not well. Too much soap, a grubby towel or a job done in harsh sun leaves a stripey residue that shows up every afternoon. We strip that old residue away and finish with a clean squeegee so the pane dries evenly from top to bottom.

Storm Specks and Drip Lines

Rain carries dirt, and wind throws debris at the glass. When the storm passes, small speckles dry on the panes and muddy lines run down from dirty frames. Cleaning the frames and sills along with the glass is what helps keep those lines from showing up again after the next shower.

Cobwebs Around Edges and Lights

Porch lights draw insects, and insects draw spiders. Webs collect in window corners near patios and entryways, catching dust and pollen until the edges look gray. We clear the webs and the debris caught in them, then clean the glass and frame so each corner looks as clean as the center.

Why Lakeway Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Lakeway call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

How Our Window Cleaning Process Works

Every window job follows the same five steps. The order matters, because each stage sets up the next and keeps grime from landing back on glass we have already finished.

1. Look Before We Touch

Our crew starts by walking the house to understand the layout and the condition of each window. Sprinkler spray patterns, cedar pollen load, cobwebs near lights and panes that face hard afternoon sun all get noted. That quick survey shapes everything else that happens during the visit.

2. Breaking Down the Buildup

Next comes the wash. A soft applicator and a properly mixed solution go over the whole pane, freeing dust, pollen and the grimy layer that hose water never moves. Mineral spots get extra time here. Tools are rinsed often so dirt from one window never travels to the next.

3. Clean Squeegee, Clean Edges

The loosened solution comes off in controlled strokes from top to bottom. Corners and edges get detailed with a dry cloth so there are no drips waiting to form lines. Glass finished this way looks nearly invisible, from inside and from the curb, even with low sun behind it.

4. Frames, Sills and Screens Handled Apart

Frames and sills get their own wipe down, which stops the next rain from pulling grime across the glass. Screens are removed where accessible, cleaned on their own and set back once dry. Keeping them separate means the mesh never brushes dust onto a finished pane.

5. Final Pass and What to Expect

Last, we check the work window by window. Where hard water was stubborn, we talk through the results: many spots are gone, older deposits are usually much lighter, and deep etching may still show faintly. You know exactly where things stand before the crew heads out.

Window Cleaning Pricing in Lakeway

Every window cleaning quote in Lakeway is free, and we set the price only after we see the home in person or look over photos you send. A few things move the number. The count and size of the windows matter most, followed by how many stories the house has and how easy the upper glass is to reach. Choosing inside and outside service, rather than exterior only, adds time. Screens, French doors and tall entry glass each add a bit of detail work. Heavy hard-water spotting or a thick pollen film also takes longer than routine grime. If you want your siding, driveway or roof cleaned too, we can handle those services during the same visit so the whole property gets done at once. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Booking more than one service? We also offer house washing in Lakeway, roof cleaning in Lakeway, driveway cleaning in Lakeway, gutter cleaning in Lakeway and stone cleaning in Lakeway, and every service we cover is listed on our exterior cleaning services page.

Serving Lakeway From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

Lakeway began on a 2,700-acre ranch owned by Jack (Jake) Josey. The Lakeway hotel opened on July 12, 1963, and property owners voted to incorporate in June 1974. Hurst Creek runs directly through the city and empties into Lake Travis.

The city has grown quickly, from 11,391 residents in 2010 to 19,189 in 2020. Lake living means more time outdoors and more moisture in the air, so patios, pool decks, stone walls and siding all collect growth, and roofs pick up the dark streaks that come with Central Texas humidity.

Lakeway is about 13.5 miles from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd as the crow flies, and we serve homes throughout the city.

We serve Lakeway along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

Window Cleaning in Lakeway: Frequently Asked Questions

It should not. Streaks almost always come from leftover residue or uneven drying, and our process is built to prevent both. We use clean tools, a proper solution and a careful squeegee finish, then check panes from more than one angle. For windows in harsh direct sun, we adjust the timing and method so the solution does not dry too fast.
It depends on the number of windows, how large they are, whether we are cleaning inside as well as outside, and how much buildup is on the glass. A small single story home with exterior only service goes much faster than a large two story house with every pane done on both sides. We give you a time estimate along with your quote.
For glass that stays clear all year, two to four visits a year works well, with one of them timed after cedar pollen season. If sprinklers reach your windows, more frequent cleaning keeps mineral spots from hardening. Homeowners on a lighter plan often choose once or twice a year, which still keeps buildup from getting heavy between visits.
Lakeway sits on Lake Travis with Hurst Creek running through it, and homes near the water or in shade stay damp longer. That moisture helps algae and mildew grow back on siding, roofs and stone.
Yes, and many homeowners like doing it that way. Washing the siding first and finishing the glass afterward means any spray from the house wash is cleaned off the windows before we leave. Let us know every service you are thinking about when you ask for a quote, and we will plan one visit that covers them all.
Not for exterior work, as long as our crew can reach the windows and any gates are unlocked. If you want interior glass cleaned, someone will need to be there to let us in. We confirm those details when we schedule the visit, so you know ahead of time whether you should plan on being home that day.
Either one works. Exterior only cleaning gives the biggest change from the street, since that side takes the weather. Adding interior glass gives the clearest view from inside, especially if the room side has fingerprints, pet smudges or cooking film. Tell us which option you want when you ask for a quote, and we will plan the visit around it.
