Clean Green Power Washing

House Washing in Hudson Bend, TX

House Washing in Hudson Bend, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

House Washing for Hudson Bend Homes

Hudson Bend sits on Lake Travis 16 miles northwest of Austin, and about 40 percent of its 6.7 square miles is water. With that much shoreline, many of its homes live with lake moisture on their siding, windows and outdoor spaces every day.

A house in Hudson Bend collects more on its walls than most people notice until the light hits it at a low angle. Spring brings a yellow coat of cedar pollen. Summer adds dust that clings to every ledge. After a humid week, a thin green film creeps across the north wall and under the eaves. Clean Green Power Washing has cleaned homes across Central Texas since 2018, and our house washing service rests on one idea: let a gentle cleaning solution do the heavy work, then rinse at low pressure so paint, trim and stucco stay intact. We walk the property first, protect your plants, and wash every side evenly so the whole house dries to one consistent color. Call (512) 662-8422 for a free quote on house washing in Hudson Bend.

What Our House Washing Covers in Hudson Bend

Entryways and Front Porches

The front door area gets more attention than any other part of the house, from visitors and from you. We wash the door surround, porch ceiling, columns and the wall around the light fixtures, where bugs and cobwebs gather. It is a small area, but it sets the first impression, so we give it a careful pass before moving on to the rest.

North Walls and Shaded Sides

Any wall that sits in shade most of the day stays damp longer after rain or irrigation, and that is where green and black growth takes hold first. We give these walls a longer dwell so the solution can reach down to where the algae and mildew are anchored, which helps the clean last longer than a quick rinse ever would.

Soffits, Fascia and Eaves

The underside of the roofline is where spider webs, wasp nests and dark mildew spots collect, and guests notice it early from the front walk. We aim the gentle mix up into soffits and along fascia boards, then rinse them without soaking the attic vents. Clean eaves make the whole house look sharper, even from across the street.

Gutter Faces and Downspouts

The outside face of a gutter often shows black tiger stripes where water spills over the edge. Downspouts pick up the same streaks along their seams. We clean the exterior of both as part of the wash so they no longer frame the house in dark lines. Clearing debris from inside the gutters is a separate service you can add to the same visit.

5 Common Siding Problems We Clean in Hudson Bend

Most exterior stains fall into a few familiar groups. Knowing which one you are looking at tells us how to treat it. Here are the problems we see most often when we wash homes in Hudson Bend. In Hudson Bend, 2.7 of the community’s 6.7 square miles are water, so a lot of homes sit close to the lake, where damp air and spray leave film and spots on exterior surfaces.

Dull, Dusty Siding

Dry spells, nearby construction and road traffic send fine dust onto every wall. Over months it builds into a gray layer that flattens the color of the house. Rinsing with plain water tends to smear it around. Our cleaning mix loosens it so the rinse can carry it off cleanly.

Hard Water Marks Near the Ground

Sprinklers that hit the house every morning leave a crust of calcium and other minerals along the bottom of the walls. The marks look white on dark siding and tan on light siding. We address them during the wash and let you know if any are old enough to have marked the paint.

Black Streaks Under Gutters

Dark vertical lines below gutters and at roof corners come from runoff carrying dirt, shingle grit and organic matter down the wall. They make even a well kept house look neglected. We treat these streaks directly and rinse from the top down so they fade out instead of spreading.

Chalky Sprinkler Spots

Irrigation water in this region is often hard, and when it hits the lower walls over and over, the minerals dry into white or tan spots. They are stubborn. We treat them as part of the wash and will tell you honestly if old spotting has etched into the finish.

Faded Look From Mixed Grime

Sometimes there is no single stain, just a tired, gray tone across the whole house from pollen, dust and light growth layered together. It is easy to mistake for faded paint. A full wash often reveals that the color underneath is still bright and simply needed cleaning.

Why Hudson Bend Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Hudson Bend call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

How Our House Washing Process Works

Wondering what a visit actually looks like? Each house wash moves through five stages, and every stage exists to keep your exterior safe while it gets properly clean.

1. Walkthrough and Surface Check

We start by walking around the house, with you or on our own if you are away. We note each material, from siding to stone, and identify what is actually causing the discoloration, whether that is pollen film, algae, mildew or runoff. That tells us which mix and dwell time to use.

2. Shield Beds, Lawn and Fixtures

Plants near the foundation get watered down so their leaves are saturated before cleaning starts. Doormats, planters and furniture close to the walls are moved aside. We check that windows are shut and exterior outlets are covered, so the only thing getting wet is the part of the house we mean to clean.

3. Soft Wash Treatment

With the area ready, we apply a professional cleaning solution using low pressure. It spreads evenly across siding, soffits and trim without the force that peels paint or chips stucco. We move in a steady pattern around the home so every surface gets the same treatment and nothing is skipped.

4. Let the Solution Work

Instead of scrubbing or blasting, we give the treatment time to dissolve algae, mildew and grime. On hot days we manage this closely so nothing dries on the surface too soon. Shaded walls with heavier growth may get a second application if the first one has not fully released it.

5. Top Down Rinse and Inspection

Clean water flushes everything from the highest point down to the ground, keeping pressure low near seams, windows and vents. Our crew then walks the full exterior once the walls are drying and checks for streaks or missed corners. We touch those up on the spot so you are left with an even finish.

House Washing Pricing in Hudson Bend

Wondering what house washing will cost? The honest answer is that it depends on the house, which is why we quote each one individually and at no charge. A single story ranch and a two story home with a tall gable wall are very different jobs. We also look at what the walls are made of, how thick the growth or staining is, and how easy it is to reach each side of the house with our equipment. Once we have walked the property or looked at photos you send, you get a clear price before anything is scheduled. Plenty of Hudson Bend homeowners pair house washing with gutter, window or driveway cleaning, and we can handle those together in one trip. To get your free quote, call (512) 662-8422.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

House Washing in Hudson Bend: Frequently Asked Questions

Pressure washing uses a strong stream of water to strip dirt from hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses cleaning solutions at low pressure, letting the solution break down growth and grime rather than relying on force. For siding, stucco, painted trim and stone, soft washing is the safer choice, which is why we use it for house washing.
Most homes are finished in a few hours. The exact time depends on the size of the house, how many stories it has and how much buildup is on the walls. A small single story home with light pollen goes quicker than a large house with heavy algae. When we book the visit, you get an honest estimate of how long we will be there.
We connect to an outside spigot at your home, and the amount of water used depends on the size of the house and how much rinsing it needs. We also need a clear path around the house, unlocked gates and room to park and set up near the driveway. If a side yard is blocked or very narrow, mention it when you call.
Homes close to the water deal with more moisture, so growth and film come back faster. We use a soft wash on delicate surfaces and control the runoff so it does not end up where it should not.
Soft washing is designed to avoid that. It uses low pressure, so there is no force strong enough to peel sound paint, chip stucco texture or push water behind the siding. If paint is already flaking or failing before we arrive, we will point it out during the walkthrough, since any wash can loosen a coating that is barely holding on.
Most algae, mildew, pollen and runoff stains come off with a proper soft wash. Some marks are different: rust, paint overspray, deep mineral etching or discoloration that has soaked into old stone over many seasons. We identify these during the walkthrough and tell you what should come off, what may lighten, and what is likely permanent before we start.
No, as long as we can reach every side of the house. Many customers are at work while we clean. We will need gates unlocked, pets secured indoors and an outdoor water spigot available. We confirm these details before the visit and let you know when the job wraps up, so you can see the results when you get home.
