Clean Green Power Washing

House Washing in Four Points, TX

House Washing in Four Points, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

House Washing for Four Points Homes

Four Points grew up around the crossroads where RM 620 meets RM 2222 in west Austin, the spot once known as Hickmuntown. It sits just 5 miles from our shop, close to Steiner Ranch, River Place and Grandview Hills, and a short drive from Lake Travis.

Is the outside of your home starting to look tired? In Four Points, the usual culprits are easy to name. Pollen settles in a fine yellow layer. Dust from dry spells and construction sticks to it. Shade and humidity give algae and mildew a place to grow, especially on walls behind trees. Hard water from irrigation leaves spotting low on the siding. Clean Green Power Washing handles house washing with low pressure and a cleaning solution matched to what is actually on your walls. That protects paint, vinyl, stucco, brick and stone while the growth and film let go. Each visit starts with a walkthrough so you know what we see before any water runs, and your landscaping gets watered down and shielded first. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Reach us at (512) 662-8422 for a free quote.

Every Part of the Exterior, Not Just the Walls

Entryways and Front Porches

The front door area gets more attention than any other part of the house, from visitors and from you. We wash the door surround, porch ceiling, columns and the wall around the light fixtures, where bugs and cobwebs gather. It is a small area, but it sets the first impression, so we give it a careful pass before moving on to the rest.

North Walls and Shaded Sides

Any wall that sits in shade most of the day stays damp longer after rain or irrigation, and that is where green and black growth takes hold first. We give these walls a longer dwell so the solution can reach down to where the algae and mildew are anchored, which helps the clean last longer than a quick rinse ever would.

Gutter Faces and Downspouts

The outside face of a gutter often shows black tiger stripes where water spills over the edge. Downspouts pick up the same streaks along their seams. We clean the exterior of both as part of the wash so they no longer frame the house in dark lines. Clearing debris from inside the gutters is a separate service you can add to the same visit.

Stucco, Brick and Stone Accents

Masonry and stucco are porous, so they hold onto algae and dust deeper than smooth siding does. High pressure can chip texture, erode mortar joints and drive water into cracks. Soft washing lets the solution reach into the pores and lift the growth out, then a low rinse carries it away while the texture and joints stay intact.

5 Common Siding Problems We Clean in Four Points

Central Texas weather is hard on siding. Heat, humidity, pollen seasons and wet spells each leave their own mark, and a single wall can carry several at once. These are the five we get asked about most. Four Points sits between the lakes and the hills of west Austin, so homes here see both the humid air that feeds algae and the hillside runoff that drags grit across hard surfaces.

Dull, Dusty Siding

Dry spells, nearby construction and road traffic send fine dust onto every wall. Over months it builds into a gray layer that flattens the color of the house. Rinsing with plain water tends to smear it around. Our cleaning mix loosens it so the rinse can carry it off cleanly.

Runoff Stains at Roof Corners

Where two rooflines meet or a gutter overflows, water sheets down one spot on the wall again and again. It leaves a tan or black trail that rain alone will never wash away. We work these trails from the top so the wall dries to one even tone.

Hard Water Marks Near the Ground

Sprinklers that hit the house every morning leave a crust of calcium and other minerals along the bottom of the walls. The marks look white on dark siding and tan on light siding. We address them during the wash and let you know if any are old enough to have marked the paint.

Mildew on Soffits and Trim

Mildew shows up as small gray or black spots, usually on the underside of eaves and on trim boards that never dry fully. It can look like plain dirt, but it keeps growing if left alone. Soft washing reaches these areas and treats them without flooding the attic vents.

Streaky Gutter Overflow Lines

When gutters fill up or tilt the wrong way, water pours over the edge and draws dark lines down the siding. The stripes often run the full height of the wall. A soft wash lifts them, and we can mention any gutter issue we spot so the stripes do not return quickly.

Why Four Points Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Four Points call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

A Local Shop Since 2018

Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On

Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

Free Quotes With a Clear Scope

The quote is free and it spells out what we will clean. If you want more than one service, we quote them together so it can all happen in one visit.

How Our House Washing Process Works

House washing done right follows the same steps every time. Here is what happens from the moment our truck pulls up until we hand the house back to you.

1. Look Before We Wash

A crew member studies each side of the house and points out what is on it. Is that gray tone dust or mildew? Are those dark lines runoff or algae? Answering those questions first means we pick the right strength and approach instead of guessing, and you hear about any tricky spots early.

2. Prep the Landscaping

Flower beds, shrubs and lawn edges get a thorough soaking with clean water so they are protected from the cleaning mix. We also close windows, cover sensitive fixtures if needed, and lay our hoses so they do not crush plants or block walkways while we work.

3. Soft Wash Treatment

With the area ready, we apply a professional cleaning solution using low pressure. It spreads evenly across siding, soffits and trim without the force that peels paint or chips stucco. We move in a steady pattern around the home so every surface gets the same treatment and nothing is skipped.

4. Dwell Time

The solution needs a few minutes to attack organic growth and loosen film at its root. We watch it closely during this time, keeping it from drying on hot walls, and adjust for shaded areas that need a little longer. This waiting period is where most of the cleaning happens.

5. Careful Rinse and Final Look

We rinse from the top down with low pressure so water does not get forced into seams or behind panels. Once the house begins to dry, we walk it again, checking for streaks, missed spots or uneven patches, and touch up anything that needs it before we pack up.

House Washing Pricing in Four Points

We do not post a one size price for house washing, because no two homes in Four Points need exactly the same work. Instead, we give you a free quote after we see the house, either on site or through photos you share with us. A few things shape that number. Square footage and the number of stories set the baseline. Surface type comes next, since limestone, stucco and older painted siding call for more care. The amount of algae, mildew or streaking changes how long the treatment needs. Finally, access counts: fences, narrow walkways, pools and thick plantings near the walls all affect setup. If there are other surfaces you want cleaned, like a patio, roof or deck, we can include them in the same visit. Reach us at (512) 662-8422.

Booking more than one service? We also offer roof cleaning in Four Points, driveway cleaning in Four Points, window cleaning in Four Points, gutter cleaning in Four Points and deck cleaning in Four Points, and every service we cover is listed on our exterior cleaning services page.

Serving Four Points From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

On August 26, 1948, RM 620 was extended to the former community of Hickmuntown, also called Four Points, at today’s RM 2222 intersection. RM 2222 begins at that intersection in the Four Points neighborhood. In April 2022 a bypass, RM Spur 620, opened so Austin-bound traffic from Lakeway can skip the Four Points intersection.

The Four Points area gives access to Steiner Ranch, River Place and Grandview Hills, and it is a short drive from Lake Travis, one of the seven Highland Lakes, with 30 square miles of surface area. Homes here share the hills and the humid lake-country air of west Austin, both of which leave their marks on an exterior.

Four Points is about 5 miles from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in a straight line, close to our shop.

We serve Four Points along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

House Washing in Four Points: Frequently Asked Questions

Most homes are finished in a few hours. The exact time depends on the size of the house, how many stories it has and how much buildup is on the walls. A small single story home with light pollen goes quicker than a large house with heavy algae. When we book the visit, you get an honest estimate of how long we will be there.
Yes, when it is done with care. We soak plants before and after the wash so they are protected, and we rinse nearby surfaces thoroughly when we finish. We ask that pets stay inside or away from the work area during the job, simply so they do not walk through wet solution or get tangled up with our hoses and equipment.
Yes. Stone is common on homes in this area, and it needs a gentle approach because it is porous and can etch under high pressure. We use low pressure with a solution suited to masonry, which lifts algae and environmental film without roughing up the face of the stone or loosening the mortar between the pieces.
About 5 miles in a straight line from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd, which puts Four Points among the closest areas we serve.
No, as long as we can reach every side of the house. Many customers are at work while we clean. We will need gates unlocked, pets secured indoors and an outdoor water spigot available. We confirm these details before the visit and let you know when the job wraps up, so you can see the results when you get home.
Soft washing is designed to avoid that. It uses low pressure, so there is no force strong enough to peel sound paint, chip stucco texture or push water behind the siding. If paint is already flaking or failing before we arrive, we will point it out during the walkthrough, since any wash can loosen a coating that is barely holding on.
Pressure washing uses a strong stream of water to strip dirt from hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses cleaning solutions at low pressure, letting the solution break down growth and grime rather than relying on force. For siding, stucco, painted trim and stone, soft washing is the safer choice, which is why we use it for house washing.
