A Cleaner Exterior for Every Davenport Ranch Neighborhood
Davenport Ranch sits on the south side of Lake Austin, east of Loop 360 and north of West Lake Hills, close to where the Pennybacker Bridge carries Loop 360 across the water. The land has a long story. In 1947 Osceola Heard Davenport, a Rio Grande Valley oilman’s widow, bought the 1280-acre Thomas Chambers Survey, a long, narrow rectangle fronting the lake, and set out to raise cattle. The brush was so thick that only 200 acres at the north end of the peninsula could be grazed, and the brush piles her workers stacked later fed a grass fire on April 14, 1961 that spread to about 4000 acres before bulldozers stopped it short of Bee Creek. By 1974 Westview was planning a 1,300-acre Davenport Ranch residential development, and more than 100 acres were set aside for what became the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. Today residents look out over the Hill Country, Lake Austin and downtown, and children attend Eanes ISD schools. That setting shapes the outside of a home. Live oak, Texas oak and Ashe juniper grow across the surrounding hills, hillside lots put some walls in open sun and others in shade, and the humid Central Texas climate lets algae and mildew settle wherever the sun does not reach for long.
We match the method to the material: a gentle soft wash for siding, roofs and stone, and surface cleaning equipment for concrete, with plants and beds protected throughout. Davenport Ranch homeowners can call (512) 662-8422 for a free quote.
Pressure Washing for Davenport Ranch Homes and Businesses
Residential Services in Davenport Ranch
- House Washing: A low-pressure soft wash that lifts algae, mildew, pollen and dust from siding, trim, soffits and stone accents, with plants protected and every side rinsed evenly so the house dries to one color.
- Roof Soft Washing: Dark streaks and green growth removed from shingle, tile and metal roofs with a roof-safe solution at low pressure, never a pressure wand on the roofing, so the roof brightens without losing granules.
- Driveway & Garage Cleaning: Traffic lanes, oil drips, tire marks and organic film lifted from driveways, aprons, garage floors and walks, with pretreatment first and surface cleaning equipment for an even finish.
- Window Cleaning: Pollen haze, dust film and sprinkler spots cleared from glass, frames, sills and screens, finished with a squeegee so the glass dries clear instead of streaked.
- Gutter Cleaning: Packed leaves and debris removed by hand, corners and valleys cleared and downspouts checked for flow, so water drains away from the house instead of spilling over the edge.
- Deck & Fence Cleaning: Wood, stained, painted and composite decks and fences cleaned with controlled pressure, board by board and section by section, so the boards come out even without splinters or stripes.
- Natural Stone Cleaning: Patios, pool decks, walkways and walls of limestone, travertine, flagstone and slate cleaned with stone-safe methods matched to the material, so the stone keeps its texture and color.
Commercial Services in Davenport Ranch
- Commercial Pressure Washing: Sidewalks, entries, dumpster pads and flatwork cleaned so a business looks cared for.
- Commercial Roof Cleaning: Streaks and organic growth removed from commercial roofs with a low-pressure method.
- Storefront Cleaning: Entries, walkways and building faces that customers see first, cleaned on a schedule that suits the business.
- Apartment & Breezeway Cleaning: Breezeways, stairwells and common areas cleaned for apartment communities.
Common Exterior Problems We Clean Around Davenport Ranch
The same few culprits show up on siding, roofs and concrete across the area. This is what they look like and what we do about them.
Organic Growth
Green and black growth on siding, fences and stone is alive, and scrubbing or blasting it off leaves the roots behind. The right solution and enough dwell time clear it without harming the surface.
Dark Roof Stains
Streaks that start near the ridge and run down the slope make a roof look older than it is. A low-pressure roof soft wash lifts them safely, and the roof keeps brightening in the days after.
Cedar Pollen Film
Each winter and spring, cedar pollen settles on everything and turns sticky in humid air. It clings to siding, windows and textured stone until a proper wash dissolves it.
Stained Concrete
Driveways and walks collect oil, rust, tire marks and organic film. We treat each stain type first, because pressure alone rarely lifts the worst of them and too much can etch the surface.
Sprinkler Marks
White and tan spots near the ground come from irrigation water drying on the surface again and again. Many come out completely, and we set expectations up front for the stubborn ones.
Overflowing Gutters and Stained Fascia
Packed gutters spill water over the edge, which streaks fascia and siding and can dump water beside the foundation. We clear the debris by hand, check the downspouts and wash off the streaks it left behind.
What Davenport Ranch Homeowners Count On From Us
Here is what homeowners in Davenport Ranch can count on when our crew arrives.
Low Pressure Where It Belongs
Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.
An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean
Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.
A Local Shop Since 2018
Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.
A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On
Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

The Steps Behind Every Davenport Ranch Job
From the first look to the last rinse, a visit to a Davenport Ranch home follows five steps.
1. Surface Check
A quick inspection tells us what each surface is made of and what is discoloring it, which decides the method, the solution and the pressure.
2. Protect the Property
Plants and beds are wet down, light items are moved, and outlets, vents and fixtures are noted so the work stays controlled.
3. Apply and Dwell
A cleaning solution matched to the surface is applied evenly and left to loosen the growth and grime at the root.
4. Even Cleaning
Controlled pressure and steady technique give a uniform finish across the whole surface, including the corners and edges.
5. Final Check
Once surfaces start to dry, we walk the property again, touch up anything missed and leave the area clean.
What to Expect on Service Day in Davenport Ranch
Here is how a visit usually goes. The crew arrives, walks the property and confirms what is on the list. Plants and outdoor items near the work are protected before any solution goes on. You can be home for it, but you do not have to be: unlocked gates, pets inside and an outside spigot are all we need. When the cleaning is done, we look over every surface as it dries, touch up anything that needs it and leave the work area clean.
Davenport Ranch Pressure Washing Pricing
Davenport Ranch grew out of Westview’s plan for a 1,300-acre residential development. When that plan was redrawn in 1974 to create Wild Basin, the City let the developer move 100 residential units that had been planned on the preserve land onto its adjacent property. A 2016 Community Impact profile still listed the neighborhood as not built out and gave home sizes from 2,619 to 8,840 square feet. The northern section runs along the Lake Austin shore beside the Austin Country Club, and residents have views of the Hill Country, the lake and downtown. For exterior cleaning, that size range matters. A house near 2,600 square feet and one near 8,800 need very different crew time, larger homes bring more wall area and longer rooflines, and a lot that slopes toward the lake changes where hoses run and where rinse water goes.
Every quote is free and is set after we see the property or a few clear photos. The price depends on:
- Size: the square footage of siding, roof or concrete to be cleaned
- Height: the number of stories and how the roofline is reached
- Surface type: stone, stucco, painted wood, vinyl, tile, shingle or concrete, each with its own method
- Condition: how heavy the algae, mildew, oil or staining is and how long it has been there
- Access: slopes, narrow side yards, dense planting and gated areas
Booking more than one service in the same visit is easy, and we quote them together, so a house wash, a roof clean and a driveway clean can all be done in one trip. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Proudly Serving Davenport Ranch With Local Roots
Davenport Ranch is a west Austin neighborhood in Travis County on the south side of Lake Austin, east of Loop 360 and north of West Lake Hills. It grew on the former ranch that Osceola Heard Davenport bought in 1947, and its children attend Eanes ISD schools.
Pennybacker Bridge
The Percy V. Pennybacker Jr. Bridge carries Loop 360 across Lake Austin just upriver from the neighborhood’s lakeside section. When it opened to traffic on December 3, 1982, it joined the north and south sections of Loop 360 for the first time. The bridge is 1,150 feet long with a 600-foot arched span, and no part of it touches the water 100 feet below, which keeps the lake clear of columns for boaters. Its weathering steel has a uniform rust finish that blends with the hills, and Bull Creek enters the lake from the north nearby.
Austin Country Club
Austin Country Club, founded in 1899, moved to its third and present site in Davenport Ranch in 1984, on the south bank of Lake Austin just southeast of the Pennybacker Bridge. Course architect Pete Dye designed the layout. After a renovation in 2015, the club hosted the World Golf Championships Dell Match Play from 2016 until the event’s final edition in 2023. The neighborhood’s northern section runs along the Lake Austin shore right beside the club, so the club’s grounds and the lakeshore frame that part of the neighborhood.
Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve
Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve exists because the Davenport Ranch plan changed. In 1974 Janet Poage, Westview executive Beth Robertson, Mayor Carol McClellan and County Commissioner Ann Richards redrew the master plan to set aside over 100 acres for the golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo. The 227-acre preserve, Austin’s first, keeps 2.5 miles of trails and is owned by Travis County and St. Edward’s University. Its entrance is a mile north of Bee Caves Road on the east side of Loop 360, under Ashe juniper, yaupon holly, Buckley’s oak and live oak.
Davenport Ranch is framed by Lake Austin to the north, Loop 360 to the west and West Lake Hills to the south. West Lake Hills, which locals call Westlake, was founded by Emmett Shelton, incorporated in 1953 and grew quickly in the 1970s and 1980s. Davenport Village, a shopping center at 3801 N. Capital of Texas Highway, sits near Davenport Ranch, Westlake Highlands, Rob Roy and Barton Creek. History ties the area to its neighbors too: the 1961 fire started on St. Stephens School Road on the western edge of the old Roy Ranch and crossed that ranch before reaching the Davenport land. Bridge Point Elementary has served the northern part of Eanes ISD since 1997.
Davenport Ranch sits west of the Balcones Fault, where the hills are mostly limestone under thin topsoil, and its canyons run roughly east to west. The land was once so thick with trees and brush that it could barely carry cattle, and after the 1961 fire, live oak, Texas oak, evergreen sumac and silk tassel grew back. Next door in Wild Basin, Ashe juniper, yaupon, Buckley’s oak and live oak still dominate. Where that kind of growth shades a roof or a wall, humid weather gives algae and mildew time to settle. Sloped drives and walks collect grit after storms, and lakeside homes sit right beside the water of Lake Austin.
