Clean Green Power Washing

Stone Cleaning in Cedar Park, TX

Stone Cleaning in Cedar Park, TX with a low-pressure method matched to every surface, from our shop on Pond Springs Road. Free quotes, Monday to Saturday.

Stone Cleaning for Cedar Park Homes

Cedar Park grew from a spring called Running Brushy into a city of 77,595 people about 16 miles northwest of downtown Austin. It sits close to our Pond Springs Road shop, which makes it easy to fit a visit into the week.

Natural stone gives a home in Cedar Park a look that poured concrete never quite matches, yet it also asks for more thought when it gets dirty. Travertine, limestone, flagstone and slate each have their own pores, texture and chemistry, so a single cleaning recipe will not suit all of them. Clean Green Power Washing starts every stone job by identifying the material, then picks the cleaner, dwell time and pressure to match. The goal is simple: pull out pollen film, dust, algae and grime while leaving the color and surface just as nature made them. We clean patios, pool decks, walkways, steps, outdoor kitchens and retaining walls. Call (512) 662-8422 or send a few photos, and we will set up a free quote for the stone at your home in Cedar Park.

Patios, Pool Decks and Other Stone Areas

Pool Decks and Coping

Pool decks see splash water, sunscreen, chlorine and bare feet every day, which is why they turn slick faster than almost any other stone at the house. Travertine and limestone are common here, and both are calcium based, so we avoid harsh acids. Our cleaning targets the organic film that makes the deck slippery and the edges dark.

Walkways and Front Steps

The path to your front door is the first stone guests see. Foot traffic grinds dirt into the texture, and step edges collect dust that turns gray after every rain. We clean each tread and riser by hand where needed, then work the walkway in even passes so the entry looks uniform from the street to the door.

Grill Zones and Outdoor Kitchens

Cooking areas collect drips, smoke and food residue that ordinary rain never rinses away. On stone counters, bar tops and the pavers under a grill, we pretreat the heaviest spots, give the cleaner time to work, and wash around appliances and gas lines with care. The result is a space you will want to host friends in again.

Stacked Stone Walls and Planters

Raised beds, seat walls and stone planters get soaked by sprinklers several times a week. That constant moisture feeds mildew and leaves hard water rings along the base. We soft wash the faces, pay close attention to the mortar lines, and keep runoff away from the soil so the plants in and around the planters stay healthy.

5 Common Stone Problems We Clean in Cedar Park

Every stone surface shows what it has been through. A green edge points to moisture, a gray haze points to pollen, and a rough patch often means a harsh cleaning in the past. These five issues come up again and again. Cedar Park counted 77,595 residents in 2020, and across a city of that size a few trouble spots come up again and again: green film on the shaded side, darker lanes where cars park, and pollen haze after the spring season.

Cedar Pollen Haze

Each winter and spring, cedar and oak pollen drift onto patios and walkways and settle into the grain of textured stone. Rain spreads it into a dull, yellow gray film that a garden hose barely touches. A proper pretreatment breaks that film down so the true color of the stone can show again.

A Washed Out, Chalky Look

Stone that looks chalky or pale all over is usually coated, not damaged. A layer of pollen, dust and dried water spots sits on top and hides the real color. Once that layer comes off evenly, the stone regains the depth and warmth it had when it was first laid.

Traffic Grime Around Grills and Doors

Paths from the back door to the grill, the pool and the driveway take the heaviest foot traffic. Dirt, grease and tracked soil build up in those lanes first, leaving a darker trail through otherwise clean stone. We pretreat the traffic lanes and blend them into the rest of the area.

Leaf, Berry and Rust Spots

Fallen leaves, berries and metal furniture leave spots that soak into porous stone. Some lift easily with pretreatment. Others, like deep rust, may lighten without vanishing. We point out the stubborn marks during the walkthrough so you know what to expect before any cleaning starts.

Slippery Pool Deck Corners

Water pools in low corners of a deck and near drains, and those spots stay wet longest. A slick film forms there first, and it can make walking risky. Cleaning removes the film and restores grip, and it also shows you which spots hold water after a swim or a storm.

Why Cedar Park Homeowners Choose Us

Homeowners in Cedar Park call us for the same reasons our Austin customers do: a careful method, a crew that treats the property with respect and a quote that says exactly what will be done.

Low Pressure Where It Belongs

Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.

An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean

Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.

A Local Shop Since 2018

Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On

Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

Free Quotes With a Clear Scope

The quote is free and it spells out what we will clean. If you want more than one service, we quote them together so it can all happen in one visit.

How Our Stone Cleaning Process Works

You do not have to guess what happens on the day. Every stone job follows the same five steps, and we explain each one to you before we begin.

1. Look First, Then Plan

Before any equipment comes off the truck, we study the stone up close. Material type, finish, age, shade exposure and the amount of growth all shape the plan. We also check the joints and nearby surfaces so cleaning one area does not leave the next one looking different.

2. Pretreatment and Dwell Time

Organic film and packed grime come off more evenly once they are loosened. We apply a stone-safe cleaner suited to the material, then time how long it sits. Too short and it does little, too long and it can affect the surface, so we watch it closely the whole time.

3. Controlled, Even Cleaning

Next comes the wash itself, at a pressure the stone can handle. We move in steady, overlapping passes across the full surface. That consistency matters, because uneven work is what leaves stripes, bright spots and patchy color once the stone finally dries out in the sun.

4. Edges, Steps and Texture

Corners, stair noses, joint lines and rough stone faces hold dirt that a wide pass can miss. We go back over those details by hand where needed, so the edges match the middle and the whole area looks finished from any angle, including the view from your back door.

5. Final Rinse and Walk Around

We rinse the stone and surrounding areas, including plants and fixtures, then come back once the surface has begun to dry. Stone can look perfect wet and uneven dry, so this last look is where we confirm the finish is right before we leave.

Stone Cleaning Pricing in Cedar Park

Stone cleaning is quoted per job, and the quote costs nothing. The main factors are size, stone type and condition. A small slate entry takes far less time than a large travertine pool deck with heavy growth in the shaded corners. Stairs, walls, outdoor kitchens and tight access add detail work, so they factor in too. Once we have walked the property or looked at photos you send, we give you a clear price before any work is scheduled. Many Cedar Park homeowners pair stone cleaning with house washing or driveway cleaning, and we can do the services together in one trip. Serving Cedar Park From Our Pond Springs Road Shop

In the mid-1800s the community was known as Running Brushy, named for a spring at the headwaters of a creek of the same name. In 1873 George and Harriet Cluck bought 329 acres that included the spring, and their ranch became the core of the town. The Austin and Northwestern Railroad was finished through the area in 1882. People lived here long before that: the Wilson-Leonard Paleo-Indian site was found in Cedar Park in 1973.

Today Cedar Park is a city of 77,595 people, mostly in Williamson County with a small portion in Travis County. Its homes see the same Central Texas conditions as the rest of the area: cedar pollen in late winter, long humid summers and sprinklers that leave hard-water marks on whatever they reach.

Our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd is about 6 miles from Cedar Park in a straight line. That short trip makes it simple to combine services, so a house wash, roof soft wash and driveway clean can happen in the same visit when you want all three.

We serve Cedar Park along with the other communities on our service areas page, all from the same crew that handles pressure washing in Austin.

I would say for the price I paid, $800. Only one layer of coating on top and no brush on edges or under the coping stones is extremely disappointing. I could do this top layer coating with a roller for a fraction of the cost myself. Not a professional service.

Stone Cleaning in Cedar Park: Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Both are calcium based stones that react to acidic products, so they need a gentler, neutral approach than concrete does. We adjust the cleaner, dwell time and pressure to suit them. Pool surrounds, garden walls and front entries made of these stones are some of the surfaces we clean most often.
We choose eco-friendly, stone-safe products and protect nearby beds before we start. Plants are wetted down and rinsed again after cleaning. Keep pets inside while we work and until the stone has been rinsed. Around pools, we manage runoff carefully and rinse the deck so residue does not collect near the water.
Not usually. If we can reach the stone and use an outdoor water spigot, many customers are at work or away while we clean. We confirm gate codes, pets and any special requests ahead of time, then let you know when the job is done and how the stone turned out.
About 6 miles in a straight line from our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd, which puts Cedar Park close to our shop. Call (512) 662-8422 to ask about the next open date.
Most homes take a few hours. A small entry or walkway may be done quickly, while a large pool deck with stairs, walls and heavy growth takes longer. Pretreatment dwell time is part of the schedule too. We give you a time estimate along with the quote so you can plan your day around it.
In most cases, yes. The slick feel on a pool deck usually comes from organic film and residue sitting on the stone. Removing that layer brings back the natural grip of the surface. Shaded corners and areas near drains tend to improve the most, since they hold moisture the longest.
For most homes, once a year keeps stone looking fresh. Pool decks, shaded patios and busy walkways may need cleaning more often, since moisture and foot traffic bring growth and grime back faster. Many homeowners book after cedar pollen season or before summer gatherings, when the outdoor space gets the most use.
Yes. Most of Cedar Park is in Williamson County with a small portion in Travis County, and we serve homes on both sides.
