A Cleaner Exterior for Every Bee Cave Neighborhood
Bee Cave is a city of 9,144 people in western Travis County, built around the crossroads where State Highway 71 meets RM 620 and FM 2244, about fourteen miles west of Austin. Its story starts at the creeks. In the early 1850s Dietrich Bohls settled near the spot where Little Barton Creek joins Barton Creek, and the town took its name from a large cave swarmed by Mexican honeybees on the creek banks. A post office opened as Bee Caves in 1870, and by the mid-1880s the settlement had a steam gristmill, a cotton gin, a general store, a church, a school and twenty residents. From the 1940s through the 1980s the population was reported at fifty. Then it grew fast after incorporation in 1987: 241 people in 1990, 656 in 2000 and 3,925 by 2010. The land is hilly, from 875 to 1,025 feet above sea level, and the city is ringed by conservation land, including Barton Creek Habitat Preserve, the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve and City of Austin Water Quality Protection Land. Summers are long and hot, winters short and cool, and since April 2023 Bee Cave has been an International Dark-Sky Community. For a home here, that adds up to hard sun, open land close by and slopes that send every storm downhill toward the creeks.
Our method is simple: we look at every surface before any water goes on, clean siding, roofs and stone with a low-pressure soft wash, and use surface cleaning equipment on concrete. Call (512) 662-8422 and we will set up a free quote for your Bee Cave home.
Pressure Washing for Bee Cave Homes and Businesses
Residential Services in Bee Cave
- House Washing in Bee Cave: A low-pressure soft wash that lifts algae, mildew, pollen and dust from siding, trim, soffits and stone accents, with plants protected and every side rinsed evenly so the house dries to one color.
- Roof Soft Washing in Bee Cave: Dark streaks and green growth removed from shingle, tile and metal roofs with a roof-safe solution at low pressure, never a pressure wand on the roofing, so the roof brightens without losing granules.
- Driveway & Garage Cleaning in Bee Cave: Traffic lanes, oil drips, tire marks and organic film lifted from driveways, aprons, garage floors and walks, with pretreatment first and surface cleaning equipment for an even finish.
- Window Cleaning: Pollen haze, dust film and sprinkler spots cleared from glass, frames, sills and screens, finished with a squeegee so the glass dries clear instead of streaked.
- Gutter Cleaning: Packed leaves and debris removed by hand, corners and valleys cleared and downspouts checked for flow, so water drains away from the house instead of spilling over the edge.
- Deck & Fence Cleaning in Bee Cave: Wood, stained, painted and composite decks and fences cleaned with controlled pressure, board by board and section by section, so the boards come out even without splinters or stripes.
- Natural Stone Cleaning in Bee Cave: Patios, pool decks, walkways and walls of limestone, travertine, flagstone and slate cleaned with stone-safe methods matched to the material, so the stone keeps its texture and color.

Common Exterior Problems We Clean Around Bee Cave
Most of what dulls a home’s exterior in Central Texas comes from a short list of causes. These are the ones we clean most often.
Green Algae on Shaded Walls
Walls that miss the afternoon sun stay damp after rain and sprinklers, and a green film spreads across them. A soft wash kills the growth at the root instead of just knocking the top layer off, so it takes longer to return.
Roof Discoloration
Patchy, uneven color on a roof is often organic growth rather than dirt. We clean it with a roof-safe solution at low pressure, never with a pressure wand on the shingles.
Pollen and Dust Haze
A yellow or gray haze on siding, glass and patios is usually pollen mixed with dust. It does not rinse away on its own, and a cleaning solution is what lets it release.
Oil and Tire Marks on Concrete
Heat bakes vehicle drips and tire lanes into driveways and garage floors. Degreaser and dwell time come first, then surface cleaning equipment gives an even finish without stripes.
Mineral Deposits
Irrigation overspray dries into mineral deposits on siding, glass and stone. We look at them on the walkthrough, treat them as part of the job and say plainly what will and will not come off.
Clogged Gutters
Leaves, pollen and grit settle into gutters and turn into sludge that blocks downspouts. Water then pours over the edge and stains the trim below. Clearing the gutters and rinsing the fascia fixes both problems.
What Bee Cave Homeowners Count On From Us
Here is what homeowners in Bee Cave can count on when our crew arrives.
Low Pressure Where It Belongs
Paint, siding, shingles and soft stone are cleaned with a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down the growth, so the surface comes clean without being worn down. Concrete gets surface cleaning equipment instead.
An Eco-Friendly Way to Clean
Clean Green was built around eco-friendly exterior cleaning. We choose solutions for the surface in front of us, use only what the job needs, and rinse plants and beds so the yard is left the way we found it.
A Local Shop Since 2018
Bryan Gerhold founded Clean Green in 2018, and our crews work out of our shop at 13200 Pond Springs Rd in Austin. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM.
A Walkthrough Before the Water Goes On
Every job starts with a look at the surfaces, the stains and the landscaping, so the method fits the property instead of the other way around. You know what we plan to do before we start.

The Steps Behind Every Bee Cave Job
Every Bee Cave job follows the same five steps, whether it is a single driveway or the whole exterior.
1. Walkthrough
We walk the property with you or on our own, note each surface and material, and find the cause of every stain: pollen film, algae, mildew, runoff, oil or hard water.
2. Prep and Protection
We protect landscaping and sensitive areas before cleaning starts, because a careful job keeps runoff where it belongs.
3. Pretreat
Organic growth and traffic film are broken down with a pretreatment, so the stain releases without extra force.
4. Clean and Rinse
We rinse from the top down, or run surface cleaning equipment across concrete, so the finish dries even without stripes or wand marks.
5. Walk It Again
We check the work as it dries, because some surfaces look perfect wet and show unevenness later, and fix anything that needs it.
What to Expect on Service Day in Bee Cave
On the day of the visit, the crew arrives in the window we set when you booked and starts with a short walk around the property. If you are home, we go over what we plan to clean and point out anything that needs special care, such as older paint, soft stone or plants close to the walls. If you are away, we only need gates unlocked, pets inside and an outside spigot. We work through the property one area at a time. Before we leave, we check the work, rinse the beds again and tidy the area, so the yard looks the way we found it, only cleaner.
Bee Cave Pressure Washing Pricing
The 2020 census counted 4,044 housing units in Bee Cave across 6.8 square miles, and 47.8 percent of occupied units were owner-occupied, so more than half of the city’s households rent. With only 241 residents in 1990 and 9,144 in 2020, most of the housing here has gone up since the city incorporated in 1987. The ground runs from 875 to 1,025 feet, and the city limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction also hold two golf courses, Falconhead and Spanish Oaks. For exterior cleaning, that terrain shapes the job: a house that steps down a hillside has a tall wall on its low side, a driveway may climb from the street, and a back patio can sit a full level below the front door. Every quote starts with a walkthrough.
Every quote is free and is set after we see the property or a few clear photos. The price depends on:
- Size: the square footage of siding, roof or concrete to be cleaned
- Height: the number of stories and how the roofline is reached
- Surface type: stone, stucco, painted wood, vinyl, tile, shingle or concrete, each with its own method
- Condition: how heavy the algae, mildew, oil or staining is and how long it has been there
- Access: slopes, narrow side yards, dense planting and gated areas
Booking more than one service in the same visit is easy, and we quote them together, so a house wash, a roof clean and a driveway clean can all be done in one trip. Call (512) 662-8422 to get started.

Proudly Serving Bee Cave With Local Roots
Bee Cave is a city of 9,144 people in western Travis County, where Highway 71, RM 620 and FM 2244 meet about fourteen miles west of Austin. Named for a cave of wild bees by the creek, it incorporated in 1987 and borders Lakeway to the northwest.
Hill Country Galleria
The Hill Country Galleria opened in October 2007 on 125 acres that landowner Robert Baldwin had bought in 1979. On opening day, the Cinemark theater held an opening showing of Bee Movie. The Galleria’s developers also donated the 50 acres that is now Bee Cave Central Park. Its general manager calls it a gathering place for families as well as a place to shop.
Bee Cave Central Park
Bee Cave Central Park opened in 2009 on 50 acres that the Galleria’s developers donated to the city as part of the development approval. It has a large and a small pavilion with playscapes, restrooms and a dog park, and it hosts seasonal events through the year. The city’s Economic Development Board later moved the dog park and extended the hike and bike trail through the grounds. It is one of Bee Cave’s two city parks, the other being Falconhead West Primitive Park. Its pavilions give some cover from the long, hot summers.
Falconhead West Primitive Park
Bee Cave / Falconhead West Primitive Park sits inside the Falconhead West neighborhood and keeps a primitive hike and bike trail system, laid out with minimal disruption of the natural ground so the land can serve as open space and handle stormwater. The city’s Economic Development Board pays for its upkeep from a portion of city sales tax, and the Bee Cave Police Department provides security. There is a small parking lot and no restrooms, which keeps the park close to the Hill Country around it. After a storm, its trails show how rain moves across these hills.
Bee Cave’s neighborhoods grew up around its old crossroads of Highway 71, RM 620 and FM 2244, where RM 620 begins its 27.1-mile run to Round Rock. Falconhead West holds the city’s primitive park, and Falconhead Golf Club is one of the two courses inside the city limits and ETJ. Spanish Oaks, the gated community around Spanish Oaks Golf Club along Spanish Oaks Club Boulevard, is the other. Bee Cave Parkway, built by the Galleria’s developers, links RM 620 with Bee Caves Road. Bee Cave borders Lakeway to the northwest, and Lake Travis ISD serves the city, with Bee Cave Elementary inside it, Bee Cave Middle School open since 2019 and Lake Travis High School for every Bee Cave student.
Bee Cave’s ground climbs from 875 to 1,025 feet, and like the rest of the hills west of Austin it has only a thin covering of topsoil over limestone, so storm water moves quickly toward Barton Creek and Little Barton Creek. On a sloped lot that runoff can leave soil lines across driveways and walks and splash grit onto the lower edge of siding. Long, hot summers put hard sun on the exposed walls and roof of a hillside home, while a side that faces preserve land or a golf course edge can stay shadier, which is where green growth tends to start. Siding and roofs get low-pressure soft washing, and concrete gets a surface cleaner.
